My husband, myself, and our parents visited Turks and Caicos for the first time on August 4th. Our retreat was absolute bliss and Grace Bay Townhomes was exactly what we were looking for the four of us. The townhome is very spacious and clean. Although this time of year is very hot, we were able to keep our air conditioning usage to a minimum, mainly at night to help with sleeping. We really enjoyed the location and being so close to everything. The grocery store, Grace Bay beach, restaurants, and shopping center are all right down the road. The pool area and landscaping is beautiful. We took many refreshing swims and it was super convenient with it being just steps away from the screened in porch. Because the kitchen had everything we needed, we were able to prepare some meals at home. We rented a car during our stay (Grace Bay Rentals – recommended by Dana & Scott) so we could explore the entire island. Dana and Scott’s recommendations for restaurants and excursions were very helpful.

My husband and I rented this lovely home as a special birthday gift for my mother. She had wanted to visit the famous Grace Bay Beach for many years, and this property did not disappoint. The owners are friendly and accommodating, the location is ideal, the home is spotless and spacious. Though one does not necessarily need a car, we feel it made our stay all the better and encouraged us to get around the island w/zero hassle. If possible, we highly recommend packing one suitcase w/daily essentials such as toilet paper/snacks/cereal/tea bags/pasta/ etc. The cost of groceries is higher than any island I've been to yet (14 in total) and it greatly helped to off set the spending at the local market to have these items on hand. In addition, make sure you bring all your sunblock/bug-spray/ toiletries as well, unless you don't mind paying sometimes triple the price of the same in the States. We ate out several times, but the places we enjoyed most were the Mango Reef at the Alexandra and the Bay Bistro at the Sibonne. If you prefer bath water temps. for your swims in the ocean, I'd go in the Summer or Fall. The trade winds made it a little too chilly for me to enjoy the snorkeling this time of year. We'd definitely visit again with family or friends!

My husband and I visited Turks and Caicos for the first time on June 21st. Grace Bay town homes was a wonderful retreat and very close to the beach and even exceeded our high expectations. Dana and Scott were wonderful hosts and also live on the property. The town home had a great kitchen, multiple bedrooms and baths and was quite spacious and clean. This property is ideally located that we only decided to rent a car for a few days. You can walk to almost everything- great restaurants, grocery, beach etc.
The beach and water are pristine and you can walk or run for miles. The people in Turks and Caicos are very welcoming to tourists. The meals were wonderful and what a great vacation. You must stay at Grace Bay Townhomes- you will love it.
Thanks Dana and Scott- Karen

We (family of four) have never been to Provo before, and weren't sure where to stay, and which neighborhood. Boy, did we choose the right place! First, we were warmly welcomed by Dana on our arrival. We were very pleased with the townhouse - two large clean comfortable bedrooms upstairs, each with their own bathrooms and walk in closets! We especially loved the large screened porch in the back which looks out over the garden and pool. Each morning of our two week stay, my husband and I would walk to Graceway Gourmet (grocery store down the lane) to buy espresso, croissants and fruit for our breakfast. We would sit at the table in the porch and enjoy the cool breezes, and wait for the green heron that came to visit into the garden outside while we ate our breakfast. We had rented a car to explore the island which we did, but also often walked to shop, restaurants, and the beach nearby. The location is really ideal, private, but close to the main services on the island.
Every day, we packed up our car with the cooler, sun umbrella, and beach chairs to venture to a new destination. We went snorkeling at Smith and Bight Reefs, visited Taylor Bay and Leeward Beach, took boat trips to snorkel or to Iguana Island. We learned to SNUBA, and took a day trip to North/Middle Caicos. It was just the best time. When we returned home each afternoon - one or the other of our family would sit out by the pool to relax and read before heading out to dinner.
I chose not to cook much on vacation, but we had food to make sandwiches, cut up fruit and salad in the fridge for lunches.
One afternoon, one of our family accidentally locked us out of the safe. I emailed the owners, and three minutes later there was a knock on the door! Problem solved! We found the owners responsive and conscientious. You aren't dealing with some apathetic teenager at a front desk, but the folks who built the place!
We had so much fun with all the activities we did during our vacation, and could come home to Grace Bay Townhomes where we could spread out to relax in a clean comfortable large place! We enjoyed our hosts insights into the island, and received good advice on various matters. If we are able to return, we will definitely stay again at the Grace Bay Townhomes!
Thanks Dana and Scott!

This is the best value for money. We spent 17 days on the island and we could not have chosen a better place to host us. The beach of Grace Bay is undoubtedly the best on the island. We arrived at the beach at 10 am and just left at sunset. The beach has crystal clear and transparent water. The temperature of the water was great all day long. The beach has white sand and no rocks or seaweeds. The home is perfectly located within 5 minutes walk to the beach and walking distance to grocery store, shops, restaurants and pahrmacy. Car rental just one block from the house. GraceBay Town Home is comfortable, spacious, clean and quiet. The house has everything you need including beach chair and umbrella, cooler and other amenities. Each house has its separate wifi and it worked perfectly. The house is in excellent shape and the pictures does mach what the home looks like. The surrounding of the home has beautiful landscape with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. Scott and Dana were gracious hosts and provided us with many helpful tips for our stay. We totally recommend staying here! Thank you Dana and Scott.

We had a great time staying at Grace Bay Townhomes. The property is walking distance to the beach, and also to the grocery store. The property had two spacious rooms upstairs and a nice downstairs area that allowed us to eat some meals at home. The pool area and landscaping were beautiful. The screened porch area was also very nice. We rented a car and drove all over the island. We explored Chalk Sound, Taylor Bay and Sapodilla bay. We also went on an all day snorkeling excursion. Thank you Dana and Scott for the restaurant recommendations and excursion recommendations. You really made our stay wonderful.
- Andrea W., Spring
Grace Bay Townhomes is the place to be when you want to have a fabulous time in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It's located in walking distance to the fantastic Grace Bay Beach. The place has many advantages, below the highlights:
We will definitely return to Grace Bay Townhomes as it just offers the best value for money.

My husband and I spent a week at Grace Bay Townehomes. What a wonderful experience! The home was ideally located within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The home has all the amenities you need while on vacation including beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and a cooler. The pictures on the website totally match what the home looks like. Everything is clean and comfortable. Lovely landscaping around the home as well. Scott and Dana were gracious hosts and provided some helpful tips for our stay. We would totally recommend staying here!

Excellent location. After exploring the whole island on our honeymoon, we can say that this is truly the best spot on the island for convenience and beauty! Dana was a fantastic host and the townhouse is very clean and well appointed. Coming from Canada, we didn't find groceries to be too expensive....prices as back home but in USD. Rent a car and explore....we will be back for sure!! Thanks Dana and Scott for a truly wonderful vacation. Marko and Jody.

We spent a week at Grace Bay Townhomes and enjoyed every minute of it! Dana was great to work with from all our questions as we prepared to book through our final good byes!
The property is clean and well kept. We loved how quiet it was! It was comfortable and spacious for four adults. The kitchen is with everything you need to eat a few meals in; that is if you can convince yourself not to go out! We took advantage of the grill and ate meals on the screened porch. There was a lovely breeze, but there is also a ceiling fan which came in handy. The location was our biggest draw! We walked to numerous restaurants, bars, and shops (don't forget a small flashlight if you plan to travel at night on foot). It took us no more than 5 minutes to walk to Grace Bay, but I would encourage anyone visiting to rent a car and explore the many other beautiful and more secluded beaches! The townhouse is approximately 3 miles from the ferry to North Caicos as well as a marina with various excursion outfitters. The phone provided for local calls was more than helpful for planning some last minute excursions! WiFi was helpful as well.
As noted, we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Thanks for everything, Dana!

We spent a week at Grace Bay Townhomes and we wish we could have stayed longer. We all had a wonderful time. The townhome was exactly as described, basically your second home. The kitchen was fully equipped and all in great condition; a nice dining area and spacious living room, nice bedrooms with comfort beds and pillows. We loved the outdoor screened veranda and we had most of our meals there. Everything was very clean. It was wonderful that they start you with few necessary items, so you don't really need to run to the store, but shall you need to do so, the largest grocery store is two minutes away. It was very quiet and peaceful. We felt safe at all times, too. Dana and Scott were great! We had a chance to chat with them and we thought that they were hard working people and definitely committed to make your vacation an unforgettable one. There is a pool and a large barbeque in the common area of the townhomes. We did not use any of them, but some other people were and they seem happy to do so. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We saw someone coming a few times to clean the pool and maintain the gardens. The walk to the beach was quick and we did enjoy it. However, we suggest you rent a car and explore the island. It has so much to offer! This is our second time in TCI and it only gets better! I believe because of people like Scott and Dana that work very hard and pay attention to details. Please be considerate to the great efforts they put into all! Consider their townhomes as yours for those days you stay there! Respect the environment, too! If it is hot, open all the windows and let the breeze come in! The screened windows will keep insects away, so you are safe. We hope to be back soon.
Thank you Dana and Scott!

We stayed in the family's townhome and we had the best vacation ever! We really ARE just five minutes the most spectacular beach we have ever seen. We loved everything about it!
Thanks, Dana and Scott!
- Scott J.
We travelled from the UK to spend 10 days at Grace Bay Townhomes. Our holiday home was lovely; very spacious for 4 people, very clean, with fast WiFi and all the crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment needed (even a blender for making smoothies!) The pool was great and our two children played there with children from the other holiday homes most days. The walk to the beautiful beach is easy, even when carrying the deckchairs provided! Thank you. Would love to return one day...
- Jen, Manchester
Great location close to everything in Grace Bay. Beach, restaurants, bank, grocery store all only a few minutes away by foot. Highly recommended!
Thanks, Dana and Scott!
- Jenna Z., Portland, OR
We spent 9 nights at the Grace Bay Townhomes and wish we were still there. Dana and Scott are very helpful and waiting for you to arrive. It was great to have a really nice BBQ at you disposal as it made it easy to whip up a nice dinner after a long and stressful day on the beautiful beach. That being said the supermarket is two minutes away and very well stocked. The beach is also in walking distance through a very well maintained path. Like I said we can't wait to go back. TCI is beautiful.

We just returned from 9 amazing days in Provo and can't wait to return. Dana and Scott are fabulous hosts and take amazing care of their guests. The property is in excellent condition and has everything you need to enjoy your time away from home. The beach is a five minute walk away and there are beach chairs, towels and a cooler in your townhouse. The grocery store is less than a five minute walk as are many excellent restaurants. Grace Bay townhomes are spacious and very comfortable. We really enjoyed using the lanai in the morning for coffee, in the afternoon for shade, and in the evenings for dinner. We will return to Grace Bay Townhomes!
- Jenny H.
Turks and Caicos was a real paradise, but Gracebay Townhomes made it even more spectacular. Scott and Dana were easy to communicate with, they were waiting for us on our arrival, and made our stay very comfortable. The townhouse, was full of all required amenities, it was spacious and it was CLEAN. you get EXACTLY what you see in the pictures. No unpleasant surprises. We were a family of 4 and had another family of friends staying next door, and we shared the courtyard pool and BBQ. They yard is beautifully landscaped to really add to the tropical feeling. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach and to the Gracebay center, where there are many shops and restaurants, yet you can sleep with the windaows open because it is in such a quiet area. We loved it and HIGHLY recommend anyone considering this place to not hesitate! You will NOT be disappointed.

We spent 10 nights at Grace Bay Townhomes and had a wonderful time. Scott and Dana are so welcoming and are terrific hosts. The unit was great with everything we needed. The location was superb! Grocery store and beach just a short walk away. Many restaurants close by. We used the pool, and the Bbq quite a bit. After a day of touring around it was nice to come back and have a swim in the pool before dining out or in.
Thanks Scott and Dana!

We were fortunate to spend 2 weeks at Grace Bay Townhomes. Scott and Dana were so friendly and welcoming. Dana was waiting outside for us as we arrived and welcomed us to our home-away-from-home. The location and value are superb. It is a nice short walk to the beach and the location is ideal for shopping/restaurants. We rented a car and explored the whole Island, however, it is not necessary if you are on a tight budget. There were 4 adults in our unit and there was plenty of room and an ensuite off both bedrooms. We did have an issue with our internet going down for a day and a bit, but it was a service provider issue and Dana kept us well informed and did what she could to get our internet back. We also had fantastic neighbours during our stay and met and socialized with other vacationers. It is at the top of our list as one of our best vacations. Thank Scott and Dana for being so accommodating! Now back to reality! :(
- Rosa D.
Despite some "off" weather days, we had a fantastic time. We laughed until we cried some nights and met some really great people while staying at Grace Bay Townhomes, some from close to home. The fabulous Graceway Gourmet grocery store is a 6/7 minute walk from the complex which makes trips to the market a breeze. Thank-you both Dana and Scott for your attentiveness and generous hospitality, we look forward to returning one day!
- Scott W., Victoria, BC
We highly recommend Dana and Scott Jurak and their lovely townhouses in Provo,Turks and Caicos. Clean, fabulous oasis backyard and very well furnished. There are over 30 great restaurants all within walking distance. We enjoyed Coco Bistro, Vix, Lupo, Bella Luna, Fresh Catch,Caicos Cafe and Seaside Grill. all were fabulous. The beach is simply amazing. We took our beach chairs and umbrella from the townhouse and really had a great day of it...every day during our entire week. Dana is very attentive. We highly recommend this place for anyone going to Provo.
- kevin f.
We loved this spot so much last year we decided to return again this year. We love the quiet, the proximity to the beach, and the closeness to grocery shopping. We do a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen is nicely equipped.I suspect we'll return again next year. The townhouses are spacious, airy and clean. The hosts are accessible and friendly.
I highly recommend Grace Bay Townhomes.
- julia a.
We had a wonderful time on our recent visit. The Townhouse is centrally located with easy access to everything. It is spacious and clean and the owners are great people. We did rent a car and personally I would recommend it if it is your first time here. We explored the whole island with the car including Chalk Sound and the Turtle Cove Marina. We enjoyed the beautiful Grace Bay beach each day as well, and our teenage boys enjoyed the different activities such as the Island Vibe Snorkel tour, parasailing, tube ride, and snorkeling the reef area at Coral Gardens (this is a nice area to snorkel, but was easier to drive there. You can rent chairs and an umbrella here as well). If you get a chance to visit for New Year's Eve, the fireworks on Grace Bay Beach at midnight were a big highlight of our trip. We used the AC overnight, but kept it off during the day because we weren't in the house anyway. This worked out fine for us. Also, I was impressed with the grocery store. It really has everything you will need and high quality as well. Hopefully, we will get back to Grace Bay again soon!
- Dee Dee N.
This town home had everything we needed and is in the best location to boot. We considered staying near the canal but cannot tell you how happy that we decided on Grace Bay. It's a short walk to the beach, the grocery store, and restaurants.
We were provided with beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and cooler. We used them all! The beach attendants would not let us use the hotel's lounge chairs (we tried!) so we were double-glad we had chairs to take along with this. They were surprisingly comfortable too! The town home is perfectly equipped and we used the grill by the pool to prepare our freshly-caught fish. I particularly liked the town home's pool area.
I could sit in either the sun or shade and read. Incidentally, the town home were in had a nice selection of books which I happily devoured. The bedrooms are quite large as are the closets. Be sure use bug spray. There was bug spray provided in the town home but I neglected to use it much to my later dismay.
I had to take a trip to the pharmacy (also within walking distance - yay!) in search of something to soothe my bug bites. We did not have much need for A/C and found the fresh air quite nice after being cooped up in Kansas. Scott and Jana were perfectly lovely and answered all our questions. They are a first-rate couple. Five stars!
- Rhonda M.
The Grace Bay Town Homes are perfectly located on the island for everything we were looking for. The beach, shops, restaurants and grocery store were all within walking distance, and the weather was beautiful for us everyday. Dana and Scott were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful with any questions we had on where to eat or go for the days/nights entertainment. We read most of the reviews to make our decision to stay here and will say they are all 100% accurate. Can't wait to go back!
- Rob G.
My wife and I stayed at GBTH for our second time, and we had a wonderful vacation. The townhome location is ideal because you can essentially walk everywhere. We rented a car for our stay, but we prob did not need it. We ate dinner at 5-6 different restaurants, and every one was within walking distance of the TH. A short walk away from the TH is the most beautiful beach in the world. Although they do provide a cooler, we brought our own smaller cooler that we would pack with beverages and lunch to enjoy our day oceanside. I recommend this place to everyone I speak to. I am sure my wife & I will return for our 3rd time sometime again soon!
Thank you Scott & Dana for another wonderful vacation experience!
- The Donlins, New York, NY
Just a wonderful experience! We stayed at the Grace Bay Townhomes for a little over a week. The location of this home was perfect. The grocery store and famous Grace Bay beach was walking distance. There was even a French bakery that is walking distance also with the most delicious treats. Our trip consisted of two couples, and both bedrooms had full size bathrooms attached which was great. The townhome itself is very spacious, comfortable, and clean, and is perfect for two couples, or even a family with children. Dana and Scott were very nice and helpful throughout our stay, providing tips on where to eat, what beaches have good snorkeling access, etc. We had a rental car also, and there was more than enough free parking. We thoroughly appreciated the air conditioning during the night, but during the day the ceiling fans were enough to keep us comfortable. We also loved having the screened in patio outside that we used for breakfast each morning - there was even a ceiling fan above the table that made it nice and cool while eating outside. The pool outside was clean and landscaping was really well done. We had such a good time on the island, and would definitely stay at this vacation rental again! :)
- Vicky G.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dana and Scott for such a wonderful welcome and brilliant stay in their townhouse. This is top notch, really comfortable, spacious, quality furnishings and décor. Everything you need - or didn't even know you needed - is there! The pool area is kept beautifully, lush vegetation and clean water. It is indeed a short, easy walk to the supermarket, restaurants and the beach, whilst you can relax in the quiet and calm at home. It's great value, great quality. And our hosts were most helpful and welcoming, we couldn't wish for more.
- Diana B., Near Bath
We stayed a week at the Grace Bay Townhomes and it was terrific. Beautiful place, great location (especially if you do not have a car) easy walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants and a nice pool. We sometimes chose just to spend time at the pool instead of the beach. Dana and Scott gave us good info about taxis and restaurants and there were no surprises like you sometimes get with rentals. Would definitely return to Grace Bay townhomes if we go back to Provo. Highly recommend them.
- Jake, USA
We just returned from a wonderful week at Grace Bay Town Homes, and we had one of the best family vacations EVER!! Dana welcomed us in person and showed us around the townhouse. She also gave us very good recommendations on where to eat and what to do. We loved 3 restaurants in particular, Las Brisas, Mango Reef, and Coco Bistro. Fantastic dining experiences. We snorkeled every day there on Smith's reef. We rented a car and really explored most of the island and beaches. It truly is paradise. I would highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful people and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We used the pool almost daily and grilled out several nights as well. We felt very safe there. Even though we had a car we also were able to walk to the beach and shops very easily. I can pretty much guarantee we will be back!! This is an absolutely lovely property with very warm and welcoming owners. If you stay here you will not be disappointed!!
- Wendi L.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was consistent with the great reviews and the information we had obtained from the website as well as Dana and Scott. We were close to stores, restaurants and the beach while at the same time enjoying a private and quiet residence. Amenities were first rate and Dana and Scott ensured that everything was in order. Highly recommend Grace Bay town homes!
- Peter M.
Grace Bay Townhomes is paradise!!!! This is the best way to vacation in TC. The townhouse was awesome with all you need to have a fun, relaxing vacation. Renting a car is not a necessity unless your going to explore other parts of the island. We walked everywhere; the beach, restaurants & downtown TC. We used a cab for the airport & to Bugloo's (which I highly recommend for lunch or dinner). We also walked at night & felt very safe. The town homes are in very close proximity of the local grocery store, which is a good idea to visit for snacks, water, lunch food, etc. Everything you have at home you will have at Grace Bay! Washer/Dryer, full kitchen amenities, beautiful screened in porch & a private pool. If you like to make your own schedule on vacation & not be disturbed by early morning breakfast at a typical hotel, this is the place to be. Scott & Dana are awesome & they live on the property if you need anything.
Enjoy!!!!

My family stayed at the Grace Bay Townhomes for 8 nights. We had a very relaxing vacation. We rented a car, however, it really isn’t necessary as the beach and restaurants are pretty much all within walking distance. Our favorite restaurants were Bella Luna, Bugaloo’s (not walking distance) and Yoshi’s. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and beach chairs and towels are available. The beach is beautiful with white sand and turquoise water. Scott met us upon arrival and gave us a good idea of the area. Dana came by the next morning to introduce herself and say hello. There is a supermarket and a French bakery nearby. There is some nice snorkeling at the east end of Grace Bay Rd turning left onto Nightjar Rd; look for the jetty when you get to the beach. The accommodations were very nice and we would recommend staying there.
Thanks Scott and Dana!

We really enjoyed our recent vacation in Providenciales. Grace Bay Townhomes was an ideal place for our week long stay on the island. It's centrally located in the Grace Bay area and within a short walk to Grace Bay Beach. We considered it a much better value than staying in a hotel on Grace Bay Beach. It was a really nice, comfortable retreat for us. Our unit had everything we needed and more - plenty of room (over 1,600 sq ft), a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, a comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom, screened in porch, swimming pool, beautiful landscaping, etc. We felt more at home here than we would in a hotel.
Dana was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. She gave us several useful tips and gave us a better understanding of the island. We believe the combination of Dana's insight, renting a car for the week (we highly recommend doing this), and our research provided us with a full island experience. We enjoyed our visits to Grace Bay Beach including the less crowded areas (Thanks for the tip, Dana!). We also explored and visited several other beaches on the island that were beautiful and secluded. We even enjoyed a beach escape to a beautiful, secluded location at one of the nearby Cays via a private charter boat. We were thrilled to see a pair of dolphins during our beach escape. We really enjoyed the restaurants on the beach (Thanks for the tips, Dana!) We listened to live music while watching the sunset at one of the restaurants. We also enjoyed several meals at the townhome using food we bought at the nearby grocery stores.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Providenciales vacation including our stay at Grace Bay Townhomes. Thanks Dana and Scott!

Arriving from the balmy Canadian weather, it was a very pleasant surprise to be cordially received by Dana and being thoroughly introduced to the property. It was exactly as described, with all the utilitarian amenities within the residence itself, on the grounds and surrounding area. Making reservations with Dana was exceptionally easy through VRBO.
The residence includes a powder room immediately upon entry and a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and all kitchen utensils, etc.), dining and living room (with TV, DVD and WiFi) on the ground floor, with access to the screened-in outdoor patio and access to the well maintained grounds and pool surrounded by variety of lush plants, palm trees and flowers. There is also a gas BBQ available for use.
The second floor has 2 large bedrooms. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, a full bathtub with shower and a large walk-in closet. Moving towards the second bedroom in the corridor, there is a full-sized washer and dryer followed by a linen closet (with extra linens) with a safe securely fastened to the floor. The master bedroom is very large and spacious that include 2 large walk-in closets, a full bathroom with roman tub and separate shower. Both bedrooms are furnished with dressers for storage.
It is meticulously maintained and a great place to call home while on vacation.
Access to the beach is not more than a 5 minute walk through a straight path that leads directly to the beach. There is the main grocery store that is also only a 5 minute walk away. The "Grace Bay Gourmet" has not only groceries, wine and beer, it also has prepared meals that you can order. The townhome is located very conveniently within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, such as, Coco Bistro, Caicos Cafe and a great pub called Danny Buoys (which has daily evening activities, i.e. karaoke) and large screen TVs to catch a game. Its best to make reservations for the restaurants, but the pub is on a first come first serve basis. Access to other areas on the island are easily reached my just hailing down a cab on the main road (Grace Bay Road) or calling from the complimentary cellphone that is available for use to make local calls.
I recommend staying here for the quality of the residence as well the location to the beach and surrounding amenities.
I'll be sure to contact Dana for my next trip to TCI in the very near future.
Thanks Dana and Scott.... Hope to see you soon!

We spent nine wonderful nights at the Grace Bay Townhomes. The accommodations were fantastic. The home was spotless when we arrived and had all the conveniences you could ask for. The cupboards were well stocked which made it easy to dine at home but it was just as easy to dine out as the location was within walking distance to some really fabulous restaurants. We would highly recommend a dinner out at Coco Bistro which is well within walking distance. The owner makes a point of greeting all of his guests at their table and both the food and ambience ( tables set in a palm tree forest) were superb. We also enjoyed the food and service at Mango Reef and relaxed with desserts and drinks at Somewhere where we enjoyed some great live music. We also enjoyed getting up early and walking to the French bakery where we enjoyed fresh Petites Pains Aux Chocolate with a fresh cup of coffee for our breakfast, bringing back wonderful memories of Paris. The beach was also within walking distance as was the grocery store so a car really was not necessary. The beach at Grace Bay offers beautiful fine white sand and clear turquoise waters and was terrific for taking long walks. Within a short five minute walk you had access to shops and also all the tours offered on the island. At the townhome my husband and I really enjoyed the privacy that the house offered. Once you were on the property you were surrounded by beautiful palm trees and tropical gardens which could be enjoyed from the screened in porch and by the pool. Scott and Dana really did a terrific job in designing both the landscape and the layout of the home. They were friendly and welcoming. They provided a local phone with minutes which we found very useful in making reservations. Every time you stepped outside of the house you were greeted by the beautiful scent of the Bougainvillea which were in full bloom. There seem to always be a beautiful breeze blowing through the palms trees which was extremely calming at night as we slept with the windows open. The convenience of having the pool within steps of our back door was great. We also made use of the grill and often found ourselves lounging in the pool as we waited for our dinner to cook. It was truly a piece of paradise. Thank you Dana and Scott for all your hospitality, we look forward to returning.
- Sandra M.
My wife and I along with my cousin and his wife stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes and we were very impressed and pleased with the accommodation and service received from the owners.
The unit was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The short walk to the beach was no problem. Shopping and Restaurants were close by. Dana was very helpful if we had a concern. The property was very well maintained and the pool was always refreshing after a day at the beach.
We will certainly return to Grace Bay Townhomes.
Thanks Dana and Scott.
- Bryan & Valerie Rodrigues
My husband and I recently returned from a one week stay at Grace Bay Townhomes. The unit was clean, well stocked with everything you will need and located in a quiet location. The pool is very private, we often had the pool to ourselves! The complex is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and other services. Grace Bay beach is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed wonderful dinners at Seven, Grace's Cottage and Hemingways. We also Stayed in a BBQ'd a few nights and enjoyed dinner in our private lunai.
We had beautiful sunny weather all week with a wonderful breeze at all times. The Grace Bay Beach area is a beautiful place for a vacation if you are looking for a stunning beach and relaxation.
Thank you to Dana and Scott for your hospitality. We will be back!

My wife and two kids headed for our first trip to Turks and Caicos (from our usual all-inclusive) trips to Mexico. We went for better beaches, and because we have heard great things about the island(s). We were not disappointed. Grace Bay Townhomes was a great way to experience TCI. They are right near a very nice supermarket, and equally close to world-famous Grace Bay Beach...and restaurants...and shops. The pool is quite nice, and the landscaping is lush. The unit (2B) is nicely furnished with everything you need, including a large screened-in porch overlooking the pool. Dana and Scott gave lots of helpful information before we arrived, and Dana met us as we pulled in. It was great. Since we rented a car (highly recommended), we got to drive a right-handed steering wheel on the left-side of the road (initially, an adventure in itself). More importantly, the car allowed us to try a new beach every morning. Our favorite was Long Beach Bay (even though the roads were a little rough getting there).
One warning: prices at the grocery store and restaurants will be about double what we pay back here in the States. This is partly since everyone adds in the 12% government tax on everything...and (be careful) some restaurants add in a 10-15% gratuity regardless of the size of the party...keep an eye on that.
Everyone on the island was very nice. It is still a relatively young island. They speak English. They use the U.S. dollar. And they accept U.S. credit cards. They want to encourage the tourist industry, so you will be treated well.
Finally, we did a half-day sailing/snorkeling/beach tour with Sun Charters on the 77-foot S/V Atabeyra schooner. The crew was very friendly, the boat was very comfortable. And it was reasonably priced. All of us would HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this excursion.
- The Big Yellow House
This is an amazing place to stay while in Turks and Caicos. The beach is a 2-3 min walk through a very nice tropical path. The main grocery store (superb quality) is 1-2 min walk and the restaurants and main shopping area are all within walking distance. The townhomes are not that old and the decor, woodwork, and design gets 5 stars!
Scott and Dana leave you with a cell phone to make "local" calls for things like reservations, and to book tours etc. Speaking of Scott and Dana they are the owners of the townhomes and are the nicest people you will ever meet. They will make sure your stay is nothing but the best..
- Brad, New York
This townhome is perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better location, short walk through a nice path to the beach, and all beach gear for your use was there. Scott and Dana very helpful, if you need any info on the island. The beaches are breathtaking. The grocery store is at the end of the street, very close to walk to restaurants, and nightlife. We will be back.
- Christine E., Toronto, Ontario
This was our second time staying at Grace Bay Townhomes and it was as lovely as the first time. The townhome is well appointed (we had a corner unit - A3) and perfect for couples or families. We brought our two little ones (3 and 1) who loved the pool and beach. As some of the other reviews pointed out, a car is not necessary as the grocery, restaurants (including Caicos Bakery which has amazing pastries), beach (5 min walk) and other things are a short walk. We did rent a car (two car rental places within walking distance) for the day to head to Taylor Beach (which is shallow water great for kids) and a couple great restaurants on other parts of the island - Bungaloo, Chinson Shack and the Da Conch Shack. The pool is a little small but worked great for us as we had it to ourselves most of the time. Dana and Scott are gracious guests and full of information on the island. Also, a phone is provided for local calls which helps with scheduling taxis, etc. If you are ok with not being right on the beach and want plenty of space in a beautiful townhome, don't look any farther than Grace Bay townhomes!
- Jason C., Minneapolis
We just returned after spending a week at Grace Bay Townhomes. The location was perfect, we did rent a car for 4 of the 7 days but it is not nessesary as everything is in walking distance. This was our second time to Turks and Caicos and it is defenitly the most beautiful beach I have visited.
The townhouse was very well equipped and had everything you could ever need to cook meals, or head to the beach. It can get a little warm sleeping without the air conditioner on but we still found it was ok with all the windows open and ceiling fan on.
The pool area is beautiful but we spent most of our time at the beach. Scott was a wealth of information and had great suggestions for areas to snorkel and where to eat.
We will definitely return and stay at this same location!
Thanks Scott and Dana!
- Grace Bay Beach, New Brunswick
We spent the week of 2/21/15 at Grace Bay Townhomes. Some highlights of things that were perfect: cleanliness of the town home, grounds, pool; gorgeous beach, fantastic location, fabulous restaurants, no need for car rental, and sunny with warm breeze every day! Scott and Dana were sincerely interested in having our stay be enjoyable regarding all aspects: accommodations, things to do, places to eat, etc. They were great, and the island is truly beautiful! We highly recommend vacationing at TCI and staying at Grace Bay Townhomes!
- Kay, Burlington, VT
This was our second stay at Grace Bay Townhomes and it felt like coming home! As before, the townhome was in great shape - well-appointed and very comfortable, and we enjoyed both the pool onsite in the lovely tropical garden and easy access to the beach. The screened in porch is great for outdoor dinners with no bugs. The location cannot be beat - with grocery store, great restaurants, fun after-beach bars, access to great activities and excursions, and a fantastic French bakery (just to name a few things) all within a 5 minute walk from the townhome. If you don't want one, there is no need to rent a car when you stay here. Scott and Dana are terrific hosts and we all hope to return again.
- Chris S., Chelsea, MA
I stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes for two weeks from January 21-February 5, 2015. The grounds themselves are truly a tropical paradise and well maintained and cared for. The beach is a two minute walk away and it is breathtaking! Dana and Scott are wonderful people and are incredibly helpful regarding both the unit as well as for things to check out during your stay in Provo. I'll be coming back to see you again and again Scott and Dana!
- Samantha M., Ottawa, ON
My wife and I, along with her brother & his wife have just spent the last two weeks at Dana and Scott's condominium complex and had and extremely wonderful stay. Dana and Scott are so very friendly and helpful in all matters, not only about the condo unit, but information on the island and things to do and see. The condo's are very well maintained, comfortable and extremely well equipped for all your needs. The grounds and pool area are a tropical wonderland and very well maintained at all times. They are located in a very quiet area, only a five minute walk to the beach, grocery shopping, car rental, restaurants and the retail shopping area. We would certainly recommend this to all our family and friends and will hopefully be able to return here in the future.
- Burns B.
My husband and I stayed at these lovely townhomes for a week in January 2015, and we can't recommend them enough! The Juraks are an absolute delight and so helpful. The townhomes are quiet, private, clean, and very conveniently located - a five minute walk to Grace Bay, a large grocery store, shops, and restaurants. We didn't have a car for the majority of our stay, and had no problem strolling everywhere. The condo is extremely well equipped and they even supply a mobile phone, so that you can easily make local calls - a nice touch!
Don't hesitate...stay here...you will be glad you did!!
- Erynn, Calgary, AB, Canada
My husband, three small children, and I just returned from a fabulous week at Grace Bay Townhomes in Turks & Caicos. It is private & secluded - providing a wonderful spot for rest & relaxation. It is also conveniently located - a large grocery store, pharmacy, shops, restaurants and banking all within a 5 minute walk. Most importantly though, it was a very quick walk, down a dedicated pathway, to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The townhouse was equipped with everything we needed for our stay - including beach chairs and toys for the children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and when we return to TCI one day, we will definitely stay at Grace Bay Townhomes. Thank you for hosting us Dana & Scott. You have a beautiful piece of paradise.
- Kathleen, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
My husband, two daughters and I had a wonderful time at Grace Bay Townhomes. They are well stocked, clean, bright and spacious. We didn't want to leave. Scott was very patient with all of my questions about the island. We rented a car for the week and took him up on his suggestions for beaches and dining. Its perfectly situated in that its close to town, grocery shopping the beach etc. yet quiet and very private.
Fantastic all around!
Be sure to leave plenty of time upon your departure for getting through Provo airport.
We hope to return next year.
Thanks to Dana and Scott again!

November 2014. We were looking for a romantic get away and we found it! We've never been to Turks and Caicos, but Dana and Scott called us before our arrival and answered the few questions we had. They met us right as our taxi pulled in and let us into the home. The condo is large, clean, and stocked with the everyday appliances. The master suite is huge including two walk in closets. The second suite stays very cool and has a serene decor. The living space is open and includes the large patio. The condo is very convenient to shops, restaurants and the beach. We actually walked to Avis (which is right at the road) to rent a car for part of the week, as we wanted to explore the island and be able to transport ourselves to the marinas. We were lucky that we didn't really need to run the up stairs air conditioning unit except for in the evening, as you have to pay for usage. We never ran the downstairs unit. Our total usage only cost us $65. If you must have your entire dwelling under 80* at all times expect to pay a lot more. The only other slight negative is there weren't enough ice trays, and the ice maker didn't really produce much ice. Though, the IGA across the street sold everything we needed including ice. Our overall experience was TERRIFIC! We plan on retuning with friends in tow to show this wonderful island and comfy condo!

Looking for a clean, quiet location that really is 5 minutes to Grace Bay Beach? This is the place! There were 4 adults and we rented their 2 bedrm/2 bath townhome fully equipped with all the linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, full kitchen, bbq, screened porch overlooking a lovely garden & pool. Could not ask for anything more!! Great location. Scott met us upon arrival and went over everything with us. You couldn't ask for better service, or better location - unless you want to pay 5x the amount or more to stay on the beach. To see the island properly I recommend a car - we used Avis at the airport & pre-booked a small car for a cost of $238 for 7 days + gas. Great shopping & restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Dana & Scott, thank-you!
- Mike P., Mississauga, Ontario
Clean, modern townhome feels like home, or better! Beach is a short walk with Dive Provo dive shop along the way. Third place we've stayed in Grace Bay and plan to return--Dana and Scott went out of their way to make our stay stress-free.
- craig c, northern PA
The townhouse is clean, well furnished, and very modern (with large screen TV). The location was convenient, everything within a walking distance from the condo. The kitchen is well appointed with everything that we need. Would highly recommend this condo and already planning the next trip there!
- Isabelle C.
Perfect accommodations for a week-long stay in mid-June! The condo was clean, well-maintained and had all the items mentioned in the online brochure to make us feel right at home. The IGA grocery store is within walking distance and has a very nice selection of grocery/produce items, including already prepared meals! The gorgeous beach is a short walk from the condo, as well as many restaurants and souvenir stores. We did, however, rent a car for the whole week so we could explore, swim & snorkel in the other parts of the island. We used the condo's beach chairs, mats, beach towels and cooler provided on all our excursions - we felt like locals. Thank you, Dana & Scott, for being such gracious hosts. Your recommendations for restaurant choices and "must do" excursions were spot on! We have fond memories of our amazing vacation!

We had a great time at Grace Bay Homes in July. This place really has a perfect location. Very close to the beach, restaurants and the grocery store. Our home was clean and included everything we needed for our stay, even beach toys. We now realize that there is no point in staying at the expensive hotels near by, all beaches are public anyway. Our stay was so positive that we are actually considering never staying at an all inclusive hotel again. Renting homes is the way to go. Thank you Dana and Scott, we had a blast.
I would recommend renting a car and driving through the whole island. Even though Grace Bay has a great beach, there are about 5 other beaches each with different characteristics.
- Von, Toronto, Canada
We just returned home from our week long stay at Grace Bay Townhomes. The place was amazing and even better than the pictures. Very short walk to the beach , grocery store and restaurants. After a long day at the beach it was great to go back for a swim in the pool and relax in the beautiful lanai. Although it was very hot we never had to use the AC the breeze at night was great. Scott and Dana were great hosts very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating on our last day by allowing us a later check out so we were able to spend more time at the beach before going to the airport. We would absolutely recommend this townhome to anyone going to Turks.
Thank you Scott & Dana
- chie, Burlington, Ontario, Canada
Arrived June 26 and stayed a week-Dana and Scott were wonderful! The townhouse was super clean, comfortable and really close to everything. We ate some meals in, and some out-Scott recommended a really great place for our anniversary dinner-Las Brisas on Chalk Sound. WAS FANTASTIC.
Thank you Dana and Scott for making our first (and hopefully NOT our last) trip to T&C memorable and completely enjoyable!
- ddsandy, Apex, NC
This was the best vacation I had with my husband! We were walking distance close to the beach, grocery and great resturants. Dana and Scott were fabulous hosts who maintain first rate town home. There is also a new shopping center with many island stores at all levels. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back.
- E & J, Bergen co, nj
This was our 4th trip back to Provo and I couldn't believe all of the positive changes that have occurred. This location was simply the best to take advantage of so many of the Grace Bay Attractions. A 5 star accommodation for sure! Very well kept and clean property and really within walking distance to many diversions. If all you want to do is relax at the beach, this is the place. We'll definitely be coming back.
- Very Happy Traveller, Northern NJ
We stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes a week in early May 2014. Its a perfect location... a comfortable distance from the mega-resorts but a short walk to the beach. It has a full kitchen with everything you need to self-cater, and theres an excellent grocery store a block away. The townhome was clean, modern, bright and comfortable. The grounds and pool are beautiful and pleasant place to hang out.
Dana and Scott were wonderful hosts. They greeted us on arrival and stopped by to say goodbye as we were leaving (even tho it was Mothers day). They live on site so are available if you have questions or problems. Fortunately we didnt but it was good to know they were close by. They also supplied a cell phone which came in handy for booking activities.
Overall a great value. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes late May/early June as our daughter was getting married on the beach in Provo. The pictures are very accurate, everything in the home is very clean, smart, good quality. We were very impressed with the spaciousness of the property. A selection of pool toys in the closet are fun for children. Dana and Scott are very pleasant, extremely helpful and quick to deal with one or two small hiccups, such as when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the safe. The beach and the ( very well stocked ) grocery store were a short stroll away. We did hire a car for the whole time, of which we were very glad, because although the distances are very short it was very hot during our stay. Walking just five minutes back from the grocery store during the day was pretty uncomfortable, ( there is a wheeled shopping cart in the closet ) but fine of an evening. Absolutely no barking dog problem. If you are at all nervous about booking unseen on line, have no worries , everything is totally as Scott and Dana declare, very safe, honest and efficient.

We stayed at the town homes for the last two weeks of May for an overdue vacation. In short, the island is paradise and the town home is the perfect base. It's walking distance from everything you need: top 5 beach in the world, grocery store, car rentals, pharmacy, restaurants. On days we just relaxed, we were literally steps away from a nice pool and had a private screened porch to enjoy the breeze without any bugs.
The town home was exceptionally clean and nicely appointed. I have some food restrictions so cook almost all my meals and staying here allowed me to do that. We BBQd most nights, which really saves on restaurant costs.
There were lots of activities to partake in (diving, boat cruise, jet ski, kitesurfing, horse riding etc) on the island and almost all of them were willing to come pick us up at the town homes, which meant we only rent a car here & there as needed.
Scott & Dana were great hosts, we enjoyed our chats with them and they were very responsive when we needed anything.
We can't recommend the whole experience highly enough and already dreaming of our next visit!
- Peter v., San Francisco, CA
We stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes for two weeks in February and we couldn't have been any happier with our choice. This was our third visit to the island but the first with a child (1 1/2 year old) and parents. Scott and Dana are absolutely lovely to deal with both in email and in person. The layout of the unit works so well and it feels spacious and airy. The townhomes are an easy walk to the beach, the ice cream store, the grocery store, restaurants, and the shops. It is wonderfully quiet although you will hear some dogs barking at night. We left our windows open at night and did not use AC the whole time we were there. We did use the pack and play that is available on request and used it so that my son could have naps in the screened in porch. The power went out on the entire island for about 24 hours on our second night (unusual situation) and Scott did his best to keep our fridge cold so that we would not lose all of our recently purchased groceries. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool is great. We can't wait to return in 2016.

This beautiful, spacious townhome is convenient to just about everywhere! Grace Bay Beach is wonderful, an easy walk from the townhome. The shops and restaurants and also close by. I stayed in one of the owner's beachfront homes and moved to the townhomes for a few days to experience the Grace Bay area. What a great vacation! I had the best of all worlds!
- Missy, Dallas, Tx
We just returned from our honeymoon in Provo. We had a fabulous time and would recommend Grace Bay Townhomes. The owners are extremely kind and the rental experience was quick and easy. The townhome is located within walking distance to lots of shopping, restaurants and the lovely Grace Bay Beach. The townhome is fully stocked with beach supplies, kitchen supplies making it an easy trip. The landscaping is beautiful - very well maintained. The pool is perfect, right off the back patio. The island breeze is so relaxing and the water is stunning. We are excited to go back on our anniversary for another fantastic visit !
- alw, McKinney, Texas
Our family stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes for 7 days in April. We have a 2 year old daughter, so the pool being right outside the backdoor was a major plus! The grounds are beautifully maintained, and there is a lot of privacy. We used the A/C the majority of the time, and our bill ended up being $135 for the week.
In terms of location, you are walking distance to everything. The grocery store is about a 5 minute walk, as well as the beach.
If you are looking for a spacious, quiet retreat, I would definitely recommend Grace Bay Townhomes!
Also, while you're in Turks if you're in the market for a dog/puppy, definitely check out Potcake Place!
Happy Travels!

My wife son and I stayed at one of the most beautiful condos that we have experienced on vacation. Unlike other places we have stayed, in which you never get to meet your landlord, Scott and Dana where there to welcome us, and gave us a lot of great advice concerning things to do on the island. The condo itself was immaculate, roomy, and very comfortable. The A/C was not needed due to the nice breezes flowing through the rooms. The beach was one of the most (if not THE most) beautiful we have seen; and we have been to a lot of islands. It was a 5 minute walk away, as was the center of town, so everything was very convenient. It was one of the best vacations we have ever been on, and I would highly recommend staying at one of Scott and Dana's properties if there is an opportunity to.
- michael b.
Stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes for a very enjoyable week in March. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay (pool, outdoor grill, washer/dryer). It is also nicely decorated & very clean. The location is fantastic with an easy walk to the beach, grocery store, shopping & restaurants.
Dana & Scott are terrific owners/hosts who are there to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. GB Townhomes is an excellent value that we recommend!
- Kevin K.
Loved it!! We lost a day of our vacation due to airline issues so we were really ready to just chill when we finally arrived and Scott was there to meet us and gave us a tour and answered any questions we had. The place was really nice and just like the pics. We enjoyed our stay at Grace Bay immensely. Even though 3 of the other condos were also rented during our stay it was still so quiet and peaceful. We didn't try any of the restaurants that were nearby but we did go to the grocery store almost everyday to replenish whatever we needed as we cooked out most nights on site - the grill worked great! The biggest expense was was the beer as folks told us - $60-70 a case so be prepared! But the grocery store had lots of fresh items and we did get fortunate one morning with day old bakery - ham/cheese croisants were yummy! and the steaks we bought were great on the grill.
We checked out the shopping in the area as well lots of stores to check out - but if you are buying liquor to go home with wait til you get to the airport - much cheaper. We would definitely recommend Grace Bay Townhomes as a place to stay if you want to visit Turks - it was very convenient to everything - we did rent a car one day and explored the island - Long Bay Beach, Sapodilla Bay were both worth checking out - they were gorgeous to say the least. Of course Grace Bay was just 5 minutes walking distance and nice very nice too, we took many walks on that one. Check out a flea market to the left on the way to the grocery store! We had lunch at Bugaloos - try the grilled lobster - for $25 you get 2 full lobster tails or try the fresh fish (snapper) the food was awesome, the view of the beach/water were to die for! We checked out Turtle Cove Marina, "the hole", Chaulk Sound - pull over on Paradise Lane for awesome pictures!! This was a very relaxing, quiet place - even downtown wasn't full of tourists - you felt at home - definitely would come back for another vacation here. Yes there were some "wild dogs" as folks call them, they barked in the evening but most nights it was early(only one late night) and far enough away that they didn't bother us at all - we left the windows open the entire time and it always had a nice breeze coming thru.
It also helped to keep our front door open while there for an even better breeze thru the first floor. No need for the a/c at all. Thank you Scott and Dana for making our trip a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We really hated to leave!!!:-)

We have been home for a week now and miss our tropical paradise very much! Our stay at Grace Bay Townhomes was fantastic and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. We travelled with our 2 teenage girls and they absolutely loved it, the beach and water are incredible. It is in a great location, walking distance to everything! As stated in other reviews there were some ants to deal with and you could also hear barking dogs at night (not every night) but these small nuisances would certainly not keep us from coming back. We did not feel the need to run the air conditioning at all, with the windows open at night and the ceiling fans running, it was quite comfortable. The townhome is very well kept and very well stocked. The pool is really nice and it was nice to have the BBQ to cook a few meals. (eating out can be quite expensive) Scott and Dana are super nice and very helpful!! We can not wait to return!!!! Thank you Scott and Dana. :)
- Heather S.
We recently spent a week in one of the Grace Bay Townhomes and found it to be everything Dana and Scott promised. We chose not to rent a car and were within walking distance to gorgeous Grace Bay, restaurants, shopping, groceries, live music, a spa, and the pool was right outside our door. When we did decide to venture a bit further, we found taking a cab very comfortable and very easy. "Spring" Taxi was our choice and he was prompt and reliable. Our snorkeling tour run by Island Vibes was the highlight of our trip. We walked to the beach and the boat picked us up and dropped us off right there. The townhouse itself had everything we needed and more and Scott and Dana were very helpful and well prepared to host us. If you are looking for an alternative to expensive beach resorts and you prefer walking to driving we highly recommend this option.

We had an amazing time at the Grace Bay Townhomes last week. We stayed there with our 8 month old baby, and it was the perfect location for our family. We could easily walk to beautiful Grace Bay Beach and still come back for her naptimes, even enjoying the pool while she napped! There were beach toys, towels, chairs, an umbrella and even a cooler, so we didn't have to bring any of that with us.
We ate most of our meals out on the screened in porch - the grocery store was just a quick walk from the townhomes, which made it incredibly convenient. We enjoyed the kitchen, particularly the blender, which we used to make some pina coladas!
It was just our little family of 3, but I think you could easily have had another whole family in the house - both of the bedrooms had huge closets and the pack and play would have fit in there. We brought a travel high chair. We stayed in unit B3 and the one downside was that the back of the house got very warm in the afternoon due to the sun. We ran the AC every night because our bedroom was 86 degrees at 9 pm. But the total bill for 7 nights of AC was only $95, so that was fine.
Dana and Scott were great owners - they checked on us a couple of times and gave great recommendations of where to eat and visit on the island. We went to Sapodilla Bay on their recommendation on the day we rented a car, and it was even more peaceful and calm than Grace Bay - great for a baby.
We enjoyed eating at Hemingway's at the Sands, and Mr. Grouper's, both of which were a pretty long walk from the townhome (we took a cab home from Mr. Grouper's). We had lunch at Seaside Cafe one day and we also got drinks at the Grace Bay Club and at the Deck at the Seven Stars. On the day we rented the car, we ate at Da Conch Shack for lunch and Las Brisas for dinner. Having the Caicos Bakery so close was also a lot of fun, we went there several times - loved the Ham and Cheese croissant and the pastries!
Overall, I would highly recommend this townhome - just such a convenient location and very relaxing!

My husband and I were excited to stay at this spacious town home with island flair. It was decorated with comfortable accommodations with exceptional regard to detail. This inviting townhome has a very tasteful island theme and is relaxing to come home to after admiring the tranquil warmth and beauty of Grace Bay every day. The tropical outdoor oasis and lovely pool were a welcome view as we often enjoyed breakfast
and dinner in the private screened in porch. The bbq grill was a nice amenity! Dana and Scott couldn't have been any more helpful in providing detailed info on the close proximity of the large grocery store, abundance of restaurants, shopping, and the famous Grace Bay Beach along with great snorkeling spots and day trips. The island weather is perfect and we didn't require a/c and enjoyed the breeze with the windows open. Also enjoyed the short walk to Grace Bay and the snorkeling was breathtaking! Highly recommend Taylor Bay if you want a less crowded beach and spectacular sunsets, riding horses in the ocean (Provo Ponies), and also this perfectly spacious and beautiful, well appointed property that is cared for by two ever so helpful hosts.
- Mike, Edwardsville, IL
We recently returned from a week long stay. Dana and Scott could not have been nicer - they were prompt in answering questions before and during the trip. Scott was nice enough to provide several good restaurant recommendations throughout the week. They even swapped out the pack-n-play with a brand new one that they just received when we arrived.
The unit was well maintained, clean and consistent with the pictures provided. It was a perfect set up for my wife and I and our 2 year old. The second bedroom allowed our little one to sleep while we enjoyed the pool (yes, the monitor reached) or relaxed downstairs. There is plenty of space - approx 1600 sq feet including a screened-in porch which is where we ate most of our meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and there is a large community grill next to the pool. Our unit was stocked with beach toys, chairs and towels which made it nice to not lug those things from the States. The pool was barely used while we were there allowing my daughter ample space to run around and enjoy the water. The grounds were nicely landscaped as well - very peaceful and quiet.
The location was terrific - about a 5-7 min walk to the beach along a path with only one major street to cross (on the walk you pass several restaurants, two ice cream shops, a deli and the best bakery in town - Caicos Bakery - the donuts and pastries are to die for), 5 min walk to the IGA Gourmet grocery store, 5 min walk to two car rental facilities and 7-10 min from all the shopping and additional restaurants in Grace Bay.
A car is not necessary but we did rent one for the day to check out the other beaches (Taylor is great for small children) and other restaurants - check out Bugaloo for lunch and Chinson (fantastic BBQ place) Thur-Sat for great jerk.
There were some dogs barking at night but we ran the air conditioning most nights and didn't hear them. Also, we did have some ants in the unit but they were not terrible. We were very dilegent about the garbage and cleaning up after ourselves which probably helped.
We would definitely recommend this location and stay again. Very reasonable considering the space and location. Thanks again to Dana and Scott for a wonderful visit!!!
- Jason C., Minneapolis
I stayed at one of Dana and Scott's rental townhomes for 6 days with 2 other adults and 2 young children, and had a wonderful time. The unit was furnished differently than the one pictured, but in the same complex, and was well kept and clean although the bedrooms were on the spartan side. Dana and Scott were super nice, helpful in getting us oriented and were very prompt in answering any questions. When we didn't have a cooler Scott brought us one right away. Having the free local calls on the cellphone was great to be able to book restaurants, etc. and it gave me some peace of mind when out driving knowing we could make a call in case of emergency.
Dana and Scott also went above and beyond what was necessary- when we were delayed due to a blizzard, they changed our rental dates at no charge so that we could still stay as long as possible. They also did not charge us for occasional AC use (although we understood that we would be charged for it) and the accidental damage that occurred when my brother-in-law walked through the screen door not realizing it was closed!
The back garden/pool area is lovely and relaxing. There was a grill, although we didn't use it. The beach is about a 5 min walk away (more like 10 if you have 2 year olds) and although you don't need a car, we were very glad we rented one so that we could check out other beaches on the island (loved Taylor Bay) and more easily get groceries with the kids. It also gives you more options in terms of restaurants to have the car. We used Grace Bay car rentals and had no issues. We'd definitely be happy staying here again.
We luckily didn't have the ant problems mentioned, and I did notice some barking dogs but it didn't bother me, however I'm a city person and thought the place was shockingly quiet.

I could not have been happier with our choice to stay in Dana and Scott's townhouse. The space is large, lovely, airy, and so comfortable. It was spotless when we arrived and only a few minutes' walk to everything we wanted in Provo - a fabulous grocery store stocked for the foodie traveler, a bank, the beach, and many great bars, restaurants, and hotels. Dana and Scott live on site for any issues that arise and are great sources of information for inquiring minds. Walk around Provo a little and you will understand the best part of this townhouse - it is located just off the beach and yet it is so quiet at night. We felt we had found a secret to staying in Turks and were rewarded for it. That beautiful poolside garden in the back isn't a bad way to while away the evening either. Thank you for a great stay, Dana and Scott!

We spent one week at this great townhouse and really enjoyed our time there (My wife, 4 yr old son and mother-in-law)

Really enjoyed the town home, was perfect for our family. Everything was nice and new and accommodated for. The owners Dana & Scott are extremely nice people and are close by to help with anything needed. 5 minute walk to Grace Bay beach, and at least 10 restaurants all within walking distance, local grocery store 5 minute walk also.
We have a great 2 weeks there, and look forward to revisiting!

This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos and I would definitely recommend both the island and this property for an affordable option offering great value. The property is located in Grace Bay right in front of a walking path that will take you directly to the beach in front of the 7 Stars Resort. It is a short and pleasant walk. You can stop along the way for an ice cream at Giggles, great food at Jimmy's Dive Bar, or shop at Momma's.
The property is only a little over a block walk to the IGA grocery store. The property itself is excellently maintained and well stocked with beach chairs, pool toys, beach towels etc. Dana met us at the property and gave us some helpful info to make our stay even more enjoyable. Although the townhouse is located in the heart of Grace Bay, we did rent a car for the week from Grace Bay Car Rentals. We explored the entire island.
Tropical breezes kept the townhome cool so using the a/c was not necessary. Dana and Scott also own properties on Sopadilla Bay. Sopadilla does not have the nightlife of Grace Bay but has the most amazing calm shallow waters and stunning views of the Caribbean. Overall: Wonderful location, great price, charming people, and outstanding food.

We have just returned from a one week vacation at Grace Bay Town home. The whole experience was fabulous! The house was spotless, the location is perfect and we truly appreciated the local phone provided by the owners.
Scott and Dana are graceful and very knowledgeable hosts helping us with restaurants choices and options for the island.
I will certainly recommend this place to my friends!

Our family enjoyed staying at Grace Bay Townhomes. Clean, peaceful, relaxing, and safe are words that come to mind when reflecting on our stay. Dana was the perfect host when we needed help and also gave us our privacy. My children enjoyed the pool which was great to swim in after the beach. The pool area has wonderful landscaping . The walk to the beach was an easy enough stroll for us, especially since we were glad to have the reasonable price compared to the beach front condos. We did not need air conditioning as the winds blow nicely.
Providenciales is beautiful and a true delight. We especially enjoyed snorkeling at Smith Reef, Sapodilla Beach, Taylor Bay, and the Conch Farm. I'd recommend renting a car if you plan to go beyond Gracebay beach which is well worth it! We hope to come back for another stay.

Fantastic location, great facilities and helpful owner.
The house is 5 mins walk to the beach or restaurants, it is perfectly placed whilst being reasonable value.
The road leading to the house is a dirt track so may not suit everyone, there is a torch in the house so a moonlit walk home from the main town is not a problem!.
The beach is stunning! beautiful clear water and clean tidy beach area.
The only problem we had was with the packs of wild dogs that were in the valley next to the house, they tended to bark a lot at night, it meant having the windows closed which made it hot but the ceiling fans made it just bearable. There is central air but the unit is housed in the second bedroom so too noisy to be left on at night.
I would recommend the area, the beach and the townhouse, great place to relax and enjoy the Caribbean weather!.

We had a great 1-week stay at the Grace Bay Townhomes. The property was very clean and well maintained. Any time we had a question or needed help with something in our unit, Dana or Scott were quick to assist. The town homes were very peaceful and quiet. It truly is only a 5-7 min easy walk to the beach and is just 3-5 minute walk to the grocery store. We had our young son with us, so this was just perfect. Easy access to everything, but quiet and relaxing and fully stocked with everything you need (washer, kitchen, etc). We also found it to be a really great value (price is far more reasonable that beachfront but honestly you are only a few minutes away!). We would definitely visit again.

Our family of four with 2 adults and 2 teens (ages 14 & 16) had the most amazing stay at Grace Bay Townhomes. We are hooked. We have visited St. John/St. Thomas BVI, Mexico, Grand Cayman, etc. but nothing beats Turks & Caicos. There is no water this clear, blue (4 shades) and clean anywhere else we have visited. Our town home was gorgeous and comfortable - everything was provided. The pool within the private courtyard out back was also a plus. Most of the time we had it all to ourselves. Dana and Scott the owners are wonderful trustworthy people that met all of our needs and more. I cant say enough positive things about our stay. The food, people, beaches, excursions were top notch. Dana was very helpful in leading us in the right direction as far as sightseeing and exploring outside of the hotel zone. Our favorite restaurant was Las Brisas near Chalk Sound and our favorite remote beach was definitely Taylor Bay also near Chalk Sound. Big Blue was awesome for boat excursions and other water adventures - especially with Captain Brent. The beaches near Grace Bay Resort and Sibonne Hotel were also beautiful - the workers are so nice and helpful. What else can I saw except come visit and see for yourself and stay at Grace Bay Townhomes!
- Konin11, Voorhees, NJ USA
Grace Bay Townhomes may not be on the beach, but it has so much more than the beach places I have seen! First, it is HUGE! For the price, you simply cannot beat the fact that you get to stay in an entire home! Second, it REALLY is just about a block from everything! The owners can’t describe how wonderful it is! I have traveled to a lot of places in my life, but this location in Provo is one of the best I have experienced.
- Missy, Dallas, Tx
Such a gem in a great location. Close to great restaurants, dive shops, and a stroll to Grace Bay Beach. The units are well cared for, and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The unit layout has good separation Of quiet areas (bedroom) from living spaces, great when you put the kids (or parents) to bed early! Screened porch extends the day and provides even more living space. Terrific value. Wil go back again and again.

This was our third time in the Turks and Caicos, each time staying in a condo. This was the nicest place that we have stayed of the three. The place is clean and very well maintained, the bed was comfortable and the place was well equipped with everything you could ask for. If there are any problems they are dealt with immediately.
The place is convenient to everything - groceries, pharmacy, a couple of ice cream places, shopping, restaurants and of course, the beach. Dana and Scott are wonderful hosts with lots of good tips on where to go and what to see, as well as some restaurants to go to. We did not rent a car this year. We really did not miss one.
I would return to this condo without hesitation. You will find that it is first rate
- Paul F., London, Ontario
We recently returned home after a ten day stay at the Grace Bay Townhouses. The accommodations could not have been nicer. The place was well furnished, clean, modern and had all the amenities we needed - a lovely sell stocked kitchen, modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, large screen TV, towels, beach chairs and we were even provided with a local cell phone. I wish I had as many closets at home as our unit had. There were lots of ceiling fans and those, plus the lovely breezes, negated the need for AC. The location of the townhouses is great - easy 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and a large modern supermarket. The grounds are lovely and well kept, as is the swimming pool. We did rent a car so we could explore the entire island and its numerous beaches including some with reefs for snorkeling, but the beach at Grace Bay is beautiful with white sand and turquoise water. Dana and Scott were perfect hosts, always available when needed or for a long chat. I would definately recommend the Grace Bay Townhouses as well as a visit to Turks and Caicos.
- Dianne, New Rochelle, NY
We have just returned from Provo and had the pleasure of staying at Gracebay Townhomes with another couple.Scott & Dana were very accomodating and helpful with any request or question we had.
The grounds where kept clean and the pool was always inviting. The Condo had everything we needed for cooking and eating in when we decided to.The location is within a few minutes walking distance to all the amenities of Grace Bay.We would return again if the opportunity presents us.
- Wayne D., Forest, ON, Canada
This was our choice after reviewing several all inclusive resorts and other properties. The property is a newer, modern townhouse with all the necessary amenities and convenience to a grocery store, the beach, restaurants and shopping. The pool is wonderful after a few hours at the beach. The gas grill was perfect as it's our preferred cooking method. While we rented a car from the airport location, there are several nearby Avis, Grace Bay Car Rentals within walking distance. Just a short drive to the Leeward Marina, Provo Golf Club and fine dining (Coco Bistro was outstanding). Inclusion of a local cell phone was a nice convenience as well as WiFi for us and our college age daughters. We mixed up the beach with kayaking (Big Blue), snorkeling (Caicos Adventures), golf, and a visit to the the Conch Bar Caves on Middle Caicos. Just an outstanding location for a family vacation. We also felt very safe as we drove around to see all the sites.
- Frank, Connecticut
As advertised! Great place and this was a well maintained townhouse close to the beach, shops and restaurants.
- TA, MN
My husband, our 3 daughters and I just returned from Grace Bay Townhomes and had the perfect vacation. Our young children had plenty of space to play in the townhome and they even provided a pack and play for our baby. We rented a car for 2 days of our vacation but would have been fine without it as the beach, town and grocery store are so close, even our 2 year old could walk to them. The pool and grounds are beautiful, our oldest daughter spent hours each afternoon playing in the pool and looking at the flowers, hummingbirds and small gheckos that surrounded us. Scott and Dana are the perfect hosts. Friendly and available when you need them. They provided us with lots of recommendations for things to do and places to go during our stay.
- Ginny L., New Jersey
We stayed at Grace Bay Townhomes and had the most wonderful family vacation. The location was fabulous and although we rented a car to explore the island one was not needed. The beach is the best that I've seen thus far and is just a short walk away. Actually everything that you could possibly want is within 5 to 10 minutes walk which includes a well stocked and modern grocery store. The accommodations were wonderful. Clean and includes all amenities that you need. The wi fi was a great feature since we brought two of our sons. I would definitely recommend this property and we are already planning are next trip there. Thanks Scott and Dana for being wonderful hosts.
- Kelly/Robert, Toronto, Canada
My husband and I along with our son and daughter-in-law spent a week at Grace Bay Townhomes. The location is absolutely perfect-easy walk to grocery store and many restaurants. The beach is a very short walk or a 2 minute bike ride along a path to the most beautiful beach you will ever encounter! The townhome is lovely with a screened in porch/room with the gentle breezes blowing all the time. During our week we had the pool to ourselves! Dana and Scott really care about their guests and make you feel right at home. The rooms are decorated with care and the entire townhome is sparkling with many fine features. We will be back to visit with Dana and Scott and enjoy their piece of heaven!
- Jeanie T., Alexandria, VA
Dana was a kind host to our townhouse. It was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, and beach towels, and pool/sand toys were useful and well enjoyed! The location was very convenient for accessing the beach, shopping and groceries. The numerous windows and screened-in porch allowed for the lovely breeze to flow through the townhouse, eliminating any need for air conditioning! Thank you Dana for helping us make some precious family memories!
- Sandra, Toronto, Canada
Traveled to Turks & Caicos with a couple of friends and stayed at one of the Grace Bay Townhouses. The owners met us upon arrival with a very friendly welcome and to make sure that we would have everything that we needed for the week. The townhouse was very new, clean, and totally fit our needs! We were less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The location was so perfect, we could walk to everything. We rented bicycles one day and we did rent a car for a day tirp around the island, but loved the convenience of being able to get anywhere in 5 - 10 minutes walking.
We also felt that the price was a really good deal. The grounds were nicely kept and the townhouses were very private. We loved sitting by the pool in the morning with coffee or having a cold drink after a hard day at the beach! haha!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone looking to visit Turks & Caicos; it was a beautiful place to stay!
- Shannon, Syracuse, NY
We ate out several times, but the places we enjoyed most were the Mango Reef at the Alexandra and the Bay Bisto at the Sibonne. If you prefer bath water temps. for your swims in the ocean, I'd go in the Summer or Fall. The trade winds made it a little too chilly for me to enjoy the snorkeling this time of year. We'd definitely visit again with family or friends!
- Mrs. J.E.K., San Francisco
We just returned from a wonderful holiday in Turks & Caicos. The townhouse is very clean, well kept, and spacious with an open floor plan. We really utilized the kitchen and enjoyed many meals in the outside screened in porch area. The pool and grounds are immaculately kept and we enjoyed spending time reading and relaxing by the pool. There are many excellent restaurants, shopping (Regent Village, Salt Mills, Ports of Call) and a grocery store all within walking distance. Early birds, on their way to the beach, will be treated to tantalizing aromas wafting from the Caicos Bakery. Their key lime tarts are not to be missed! Scott and Dana you are both wonderful hosts and will not be forgotten by us. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely townhouse and for becoming our friends.
- Bill & Gundi, Kelowna, BC Canada
We were thrilled with our stay at Grace Bay Townhomes in April of 2011. My partner and I brought Mum for a holiday and it was exactly what we all needed. We were a short walk from a most beautiful beach and close to everything we could possibly need. The kitchen is well-appointed which allowed us to make ourselves at home and we enjoyed our meals in the comfort of the screened porch. Scott was a delightful host and we look forward to meeting Dana as we begin to plan our next trip!
- Darcy M., Canada/Ireland
Dana - we loved staying at your town home. Don and Judy were so helpful. The kids loved using the noodles and boogie boards (Thanks, Don). The accommodations were wonderful (very clean and well-maintained) and conveniently located near Grace Bay (within walking distance), the grocery store and restaurants. We discovered Caicos Bakery just down the street which serves wonderful bread and pastries.
The well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and pool onsight was a benefit. We ventured off the beaten path to discover some of the islands great secrets (Malcom Road Beach, Long Bay Beach and the GreenBean were some of our favorites stops). We had a great time and hope to be able to come back soon. Take Care.
- Linda H.
We just wanted to sincerely thank Scott and Dana for sharing their wonderful property with us. They were the perfect hosts and the property exceeded our expecations. It had every modern convenience and was finished to a very high standard.
The property was immaculate including the pool and gorgeous landscaping. The beach was a charming walk away through a designated pedestrian path. A very modern well stocked grocery store was also close-by. Thank you very much for helping our family build magical memories that will last a life time. We hope to return and see you again.
- Cathy, Toronto, Canada
My family would like to thank the Juraks for being such wonderful hosts and allowing us to rent their amazing beach house for the week. It's hard to completely describe how amazingly beautiful the whole experience was for my family and our friends that stayed at Crystal Sands Villa. It is a completely breathtaking experience from the house itself, to the pool, to the white and soft sand beach, and to the ability to be able to share such an experience with friends and family. Our children loved every second of every day. They never wanted to go to sleep because they thought they were going to miss out on something. We loved going to the shops at the SaltMills and we loved going out to a different restaurant every night for dinner. Each one had their own style of food and each style was great. We particularly loved Mango Reef Restaurant at the alexandra Resort. We also had an amazing boat excursion and highly recommend Caicos Dream Tours. It was worth every penny. Every day was filled with sunshine, sand, and great company. Even when the forecast called for 100% chance of rain, it ended up being totally sunny and beautiful. Pictures say a thousand words, but unless you see this beautiful property for yourself, then you have no idea how beautiful it really is. Thanks again to the Juraks and we will be back to Provo.
This was our second stay at Crystal Sands Villa. We thoroughly enjoy the location of the Villa and the beauty that surrounds it. Sunsets to enjoy on the deck or the private beach as well as waking up in bed and having a spectacular view of the ocean. Sapodilla Bay is simply stunning. The owners, Dana and Scott are very accomodating and always friendly! We rented a car both years as we like to explore all the beaches and activities. We would highly recommend the pontoon boat ride and kayaking on Chalk Sound, the 1/2 day sail on the atabeyra, snorkeling at Smiths Reef, a visit to Long Bay and Pelican Beaches, equally beautiful! Graceway IGa and Graceway Gormet (which has an excellent coffee bar) have everthing you need. Las Brisas restaurant is a short walk from Crystal Sands which offers delicious meals at reasonable prices all with charming atmosphere on Chalk Sound. The only disappointment on Provo is that it's difficult to find local fish to cook at the villa.
Our family had the most wonderful experience at Crystal Sands Villa this past 3/31/2013 - 4/6/2013. My husband and I and our children, ages 10 and 13, enjoyed days on the beach - which were very peaceful because not a lot of people come to this bay and it is not crowded at all. We saw lots of turtles bobbing their little heads up and down each day which was very entertaining. I would highly recommend renting a car if you decide to stay here. Taxis are not reliable and having our car to come and go as we please made it worthwhile. Visiting different parts of the island and going to different restaurants made our trip even more complete. Be aware - groceries are very expensive! We bought enough groceries to eat breakfast and lunch at the villa and we would go out to different restaurants for dinner. One of the best parts of our stay was our day-long boat adventure with Captain Bill. He will give you a call and invite you for a day trip of snorkling, lunch, and seeing tons of starfish! Definitely say yes! You could not ask for better people to deal with than Dana and Scott, the owners of the property. They greeted us the day we arrived and said goodbye on the day we left - we had the freedom to call them if we needed anything. They have lived on the island for quite a while now and were very informative about things to do and places to go. We thoroughly enjoyed them and because of them, we will return.
I have returned again! Crystal Sands Villa is the best place on Sapodilla Bay. The suite has everything. When I come back, Scott and Dana make me feel like I own the place! The villa is always fresh and clean. Everything is always working perfectly! I will come back again and again and again! Thank you!
Crystal Sands Villa is a delightful choice for a vacation. We have stayed here twice and are already planning our third trip back. The location on quiet Sapodilla Bay is wonderful. It is quieter and less windy than Grace Bay, and the ocean and beach are gentle and calm, perfect for long swims and daily walks.
The house is very well designed and the owners are constantly refurbishing and updating the property. I love the daily hop along stepping stones in the sand to the beach, and the wonderful porch with tables, chairs and hammocks where we spend so much time. The front garden is lovely. For those sensitive to the sun, there is shade on the porches, under the palm trees as well as in the large palapa or gazebo where we enjoyed a glass of wine at sunset. Some days we took advantage of the Eco tours from Big Blue, other days we were content to stay at Crystal Sands. Dana and Scott could not have been more helpful. They are terrific hosts and I highly recommend their lovely home on the beach.
The view from the Penthouse of this villa is even more beautiful than the website photos. Having rented on this island in the past I can say without a doubt that this is the best value you will find on Provo and certainly for a beach front location. You cannot beat the value of this property nor the hospitality of the owners Dana and Scott. Upon our arrival we were greeted at the villa by Dana who toured us through the property and assured us that she was only a phone call away should we need anything. Who could possibly need anything more than what this villa already offers as it has every amenity of your own home and then some! So much so, that when asked at checkout "what would you change about this rental", the only thing we could come up with was for them to replace a hard to use can opener! During our stay we floated on the crystal clear calm waters of Sapodilla Bay daily and encountered numerous tourists who were staying in Grace Bay. These people found the water at this beach to be much calmer, and the atmosphere more relaxing than the beaches at Grace Bay. We were repeatedly recommended this villa to people and many of them returned at another time to tell us they did in fact look at the website and could not believe what a great deal Crystal Sands was in comparison to the overpriced rentals on Grace Bay. My husband and I have stayed at many resorts and villas throughout the Caribbean and Hawaiian Islands and we have found this to be the very best we have found in more than 20 years of renting vacation homes. The views, sunsets, crystal clear water, silky sand beach and hospitality are simply unparalleled.
My family of five just returned from our trip to Crystal Sands in Provo. The most wonderful vacation we have ever experienced. The villa is spectacular with ocean views from both suites and all bedrooms. The beach is beautiful, white sand and 84 degree turquoise water that is totally amazing. The landscaping is gorgeous and allows for total privacy. I would definitely rate this a five star property and cannot wait to return in the near future!
We rented the entire Villas (both levels), so from the nightly cool breezes to the warm gently massaging waters of the Caribbean and the many family dinners enjoyed on the generously appointed patios, Crystal Sands is exactly what we were looking for. The thought that Scott and Dana (owners) have put into their properties is evidence enough of the love they have for the Caribbean and all it has to offer. From the gleefully joyous laughter of our 15 month old grandchild enjoying the biggest sand box he had ever seen to the relaxing time spent with family, Crystal Sands Villas, is the place we call, "Our Little Slice of Paradise". The description and photos provided are accurate in every detail and really don't do the property the justice it deserves. We are confident you too will agree should you be lucky enough to secure your own week of Paradise and Relaxation... Enjoy!
I loved my week stay at the Crystal Sands Villa at Sapodilla Bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. We rented the downstairs unit of the villa, which was just a few steps to the beautiful white sandy beach and stunning turquoise ocean. The villa was very spacious and comfortable, with lots of windows and fantastic views of the ocean. It was wonderful to walk just a few steps to the beach every morning and enjoy a cup of coffee, as the sun peaked over the horizon. Or sit and relax on the lovely shaded patio to watch the sunset with a nice glass of wine. I loved going to sleep at night with my windows open and listening to the lovely sounds of the night and the ocean. There were some great restaurants in town which we visited, but it was also pleasant to cook in the well equipped kitchen of our villa and enjoy a relaxing dinner on the patio. The owners, Scott and Dana, could not have been more attentive, accommodating and gracious. I hope to return to Crystal Sands in the near future and would definitely recommend it to all my family and friends!!!
Five years ago my parents rented the entire house for a family reunion at Crystal Sands Villa. My family of three enjoyed it so much that as we were planning our last precious vacations before our daughter leaves the nest, we all voted that this was a vacation we wanted to repeat.
This time we rented just the upstairs apartment and invited Emily's roommate from college to join us. I was worried about what it would be like to have neighbors downstairs, but we had plenty of privacy and enjoyed the shared spaces on our own and together. It was great getting to know Linda, Jim, Dave and Michelle. The beach was so secluded that you felt you had it all to yourself. Sandcastles lasted days and days since no one would dream of wrecking them. One day one of our more elaborate sandcastles had a "for sale by owner" sign that Dave had cleverly left there for us to see. There's plenty of shade to be found outside throughout the day. The palm tree on the beach gives you a place to hang out without getting fried and the shadow cast by the house gives you various places around the pool to find a shade or sun as it suits you. Dana and Scott were very helpful and available since they live on the island. They recommended terrific snorkeling locations that didn't require boat rental, gave us ideas on places to shop and eat out and shared their adventures on the island. "Downstairs Dave" was a boat captain and has taken people all over the world on exotic beach vacations. He said Sapodilla Bay was the most beautiful beach he has even seen in the Caribbean.
It's extremely calm and shallow making it a great place for little kids to play. I think the ocean is pretty, but I've never been one to feel comfortable swimming in it except here. I could swim, float and relax without feeling like I'd be washed out to sea. This is the only vacation we've ever repeated; I can definitely see us staying at Crystal Sands Villa again someday.
Scott and Dana do a wonderful job of providing a great vacation experience. This was our fourth stay in the upstairs penthouse suite. Excellent house with new appliances, bedding big screen tv, but same outstanding view of the Bay. If it is a relaxing vacation with a soft sand beach you desire, Crystal Sands can not be beaten. Located on the quiet southwest side of the island, it offers all you could want in an unhurried style.
I have stayed at Crystal Sands Villa five times with family and friends. I have stayed both in the uupstairs Penthouse Suite and the downstairs Beach Level Suite. I prefer the downstairs because it has direct access to the beach. From the patio, it's a treat to walk the garden path which is lush with tropical flowers and foilage. The path ends on the beautiful white sands and the turquoise blue waters of Sapodilla Bay I have spent many hours walking the beach, swimming in the warm waters and lounging in my chair enjoying the sun, waters and views of "a bit of paradise". After a day on the beach, a dip in the beautiful pool is refreshing. The patio at Crystal Sands Villa is perfect for enjoying spectacular views, for dining on fabulous meals, sipping tropical drinks and for watching the most glorious sunsets. The Villa has comfortable beds and the best view, right outside the bedroom windows. The kitchen is fully equipped and incredibly well appointed. The living area is furnished comfortably and decorated in a tropical motif. The large expanse of windows offers a panoramic view of the gardens, Sapodilla Bay and the beautiful sunsets. I am plnning another trip to Crystal Sands Villa this year. The accommodations are very comfortable and the owners are very hospitable and eager to make your visit a memorable vacation.
The villa is just as advertised, very spacious, comfortable, beautiful. It is on a secluded small beach, which means that for most of the time your privacy will be protected. The most that can happen is to meet neighbors or the very few who come here by car to take a look at the shallow waters of the bay. The owner was very helpful and discreet, and always available, she brought in a new microwave shortly after our call in which we told her the other one was not working. The kitchen has all you need for anything you want to prepare. Rooms are big, as are bathrooms and everything else. We never used the pool, but the outside area were all very comfy. Thanks for everything!
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely villa! It was truly paradise! We had so much fun! We loved las brisas! Best restaurant on the island and only a couple minutes away! Snorkeling was amazing & we enjoyed finding sand dollars on sand dollar point! Can't wait to come back! Thanks again!
Thank you for having us in your beautiful home! It was wonderful & we think Sapodilla is the best beach we saw on the island. Just our style! Highlights were seeing the stingrays, sea turtles & starfish on our beach, and early morning coffee & apps at sunset on the beach. We also enjoyed Amber, or "Cutie Pie's” company. What a sweetheart dog! Thanks again.
Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was here in your lovely villa! You have definitely created an oasis for the weary soul! Your place exceeded our every thought and made this celebration one to remember. And trust me, when we are shoveling out from 6 feet of snow this winter, we will remember this place! You provided for everything so well! We enjoyed out charter on Big Blue, snorkeling at Crystal Garden and discovered a new seafood - conch! Loved every minute of it! Please let us know when your new place is done...we would love to visit it too! Thanks for everything.
This place is as close to “Paradise” as you can get. We had
massages on the deck while listening to the waves lap and the birds
singing. It was so relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered! The food has been outstanding, Mango Reef, Bay Bistro, CoCo Bistro, and the best is right across the street, Las
Brisas. We checked out the bars at Tiki Hut, Sharkbite, Anchorage, and most beautiful is Anacaona. Everyone has been so gracious and helpful. We never missed a sunset from here. How could we leave such amazing sunsets.
And right outside your door! We will take these memories home with us and dream about them when we lay our heads on our pillows at night in the freezing cold in Delaware.
Thank
you sincerely, Kathleen, Elaine, Lori
The kids had a blast again!! William (6) + Eliana (4) both snorkeled this year and loved it. Coral Gardens is the perfect place for young kids to learn! Many days of just floating and playing in the ocean. Perfect for Frisbee and football. We had a Harry Potter sand school along with a princess
palace. We bought 10 fresh lobsters from some local fishermen that came by boat in front of the house. They were
delicious! We were able to bring my mom with us this year to enjoy pure paradise. Only wish we were staying longer. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We hope to be back next year!
Ryan, Lisa, William, Eliana and Linda
The views are some of the best I have ever seen.
This was my first visit to Turks and Caicos, and I had a
wonderful time. For future visitors, if you get a chance, take the TCI Ferry over to North Caicos and Middle Caicos to see Horsestable Beach and Mudjin Harbour; while the sand isn’t as soft as it is at Sapodilla Bay, the water is absolutely breathtaking (although this part of the island is still very rustic). Again, I had a wonderful time and am glad I stayed at your beautiful home. Thanks!
Melissa, Winfield, Alabama
Thanks to you sharing your gorgeous beach home with us. Sapodilla Bay is absolutely amazing! The views are fabulous and we will forever remember this wonderful place. We visited North and Middle Caicos while we were here and truly enjoyed Flamingo Pond, Mudjin Harbour and Horsestable Beach. Watching flamingos in their natural habitat was so fun. We rode seadoos while we were here and enjoyed seeing Silly Creek Estates. Thanks again – It was wonderful.
Karen, Donna, Melissa, Suzan
We have made memories that will last a lifetime here at the
Crystal Sands! We loved
exploring the island and the Conch Shack is the best!
Look forward to seeing you again!

It is sooo beautiful! The view and beach is spectacular!
Thanks.
This is our best vacation ever….All is well and better.
This is a wonderful vacation home.It has everything anyone could ask for. More importantly, the breathtaking water – the view from the balcony – made this one of my most relaxing vacations of all time.
We will be back – Thanks for sharing your
beautiful home.

The house is so beautiful and has everything we needed for a perfect, relaxing vacation. We don’t want to leave.
We’ll be back!

Our family had the most incredible tripand it all started at Crystal Sands Villa! Everything at the villa was truly amazing, especially the beach. It is the perfect setting for relaxing and for having Will (5) and Elaina (9) play in the ocean without a worry. The sunsets were spectacular and the water pristine. Crystal Sands Villa and TCI have become our favorite place with memories that will last a lifetime. Will learned to snorkel and play Frisbee with a little visit from a beautiful stingray. The visit to the other islands and snorkeling on the last day was spectacular and will stay with our family forever, especially the dolphins and their baby. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and generosity. This turned out to be a trip of a lifetime that will be hard to beat! Thanks again. It is hard to say goodbye.
Kindest regards, Ryan, Lisa, Will and Eliana
Your place exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was just perfect for us and for the kids. And then your kindness in taking us out on your boat! Michelangelo, Gregorio, Maddalena and Orlando will remember forever when they drove a boat for the first time. Scott, I was only disappointed that you could not throw Stefano out of the float! The kids have already started to say that they want to move here permanently! It will be an unforgettable memory! Hope to see you soon again (maybe as neighbors!)

What a wonderful week we had. With 10 adults and 4 children under age 4, what could have been a recipe for disaster, turned into a relaxing fun filled vacation. The beach and pool were perfect for the kids and the spectacular views and great house layout were ideal for the adults. We all enjoyed snorkeling at Coral Gardens & Smith’s Reef. A day sail with Captain Bill’s Pirate Cruise and dinner and drinks at Hemmingways. The Bs 40th anniversary, B/H reunion will go down in history!
Much love, The Penthouse Group, Glen, Judy & Scott. Jeremy, Nicki & Baby Sam
Hi!
We enjoyed it so much! What a perfect
location this is. We ate the best conch fritters at “Da Conch
Shack” and “Sharkbite”, amazing! We snorkeled at Smith’s Reef
and saw a Nurse shark (scary) and a huge barracuda (also scary) with
a class of little barracuda! We saw colorful fishes and even
the cutest sea turtle! Lots of fun! We also visited the
conch farm, pretty instructive and snorkeled some more at Coral
Gardens. Really cool fishes there; the ocean is a little
calmer than Smith’s reef, so it’s good for first time snorkelers.
That was lots of fun! We ate at the following restaurants:
Caicos Café lunch (3 stars!) really good food, Anacaona –
fantastic!, O’Soleil – fantastic! Captain Bill is great! Go!!!
He’s the man! Mango Reef – best quality, price, great service!
We took the ferry to North/Middle Caicos for a little adventure.
It was fun, but Provo is much better! If you want to go, call
Mike to rent a car. We are all very sad that we have to be
back home! The villa truly made us feel as if we could all
live here! It really is the perfect house and location!
We will definitely recommend it to everyone and will have great
pictures to prove it! Thank you so very much!

So laid back! My mother’s Day was perfect, thank to you! This is our 3rd trip to the island and we are going to take your advice and “just do it”. We are looking at a 3rd property this afternoon and who knows, we might just be eating dinner together on a steady basis! Y’all are the best. We will probably be back to see you before the deed is done! I’ll cook dinner for you guys…soon.
Codee will love the island and you, Scott, and the (2) four-legged kids.
Thanks again for a super Mother’s Day!
Ken and Angela, Wilmington, NC
I feel as if we have been friends for years.
We will be from now on! Love you guys!
Thank you once again for sharing your amazing home with us.
The highlight of our trip…coming here every afternoon after exploring to beautiful Crystal Sands! (Never appreciated it more than after going to the Beaches on a day pass…yikes!!) $140/adult, $70/kid…the kids love it! The adults…well, it was too crowded, mass produced food…
Snorkeled off of Coral Gardens…saw turtles, angel fish…shell collected in the shallow water at Leeward Beach…Ate at Tiki Hut…so, so…too many flys…Ate at Horse-eyed Jacks…that was good! Ate at Three Queens (thanks, Dana & Scott for the suggestion)…best fresh fish on the island….yummy! Went to the Conch Farm….very interesting!
It was so nice to eat across the street at Las Brisas at Neptune Villas. Great view, and good food, too! Caicos Oil has a nice selection of groceries. If you don’t want to go to the IGA. It is right around the corner on South Dock Road.
We took a drive to Nissi House (a home for children without families). We had been in touch with them prior to coming and were able to bring them some much needed items. IT was thrilling to see the looks on their faces when we brought them their goodies…WE are SO lucky to have what we have and to be able to come to Crystal Sands…it was right to share with the kids, who have next to nothing!
It was an incredible 10 days…perfect weather, perfect villa, and a perfect way to spend time with your family, swimming, snorkeling, chatting, reading, eating, drinking,…right here at Crystal Sands Villa! Thanks again…

What a wonderful week we had! The beach was beautiful, the house was great and we did a lot of fun things. We snorkeled, ate out, and had a fun time with family. My grandma and grandpa stayed in the suite below us and was great. We went to the Coral Gardens and saw tons of fish and all different types of coral.
We ate at the Tiki Hut, which was great and where it was, was fantastic. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for a beautiful get away. We had a great time snorkeling in front of the house at the shipwrecks. We had a wonderful time on the boat trip. We went on the glow worms and tour with Captain Bill; we had a good time on that. We ate out at the Irish Pub which we all enjoyed. The food was good. We ate across at Neptune Villas. We enjoyed that! There was a great view. On Wednesday, we ate at the Tiki Hut; the chicken was good. Our favorite restaurant was the Irish Pub. Thanks again for a great view and house. Thanks,
Todd, Diane, Audrey and Meg.
P.S. We enjoyed the sunset every night. It was beautiful.
I always enjoy vacation time. However, sometimes in life we NEED vacation. This is one of those years for our family. For us, vacation provides time to strengthen family bonds, reconnect with the core of who we are, and understand the Source of why we are. This will be one of those vacations that our family remembers as a defining time. You were key in making this time unique and special. Crystal Sands was perfect for our stay and time spent with you was the highlight of our trip. I’m sure you will be sharing my “overboard experience” with future guests. I know we will be laughing about it for years to come.
As the week comes to a close, I can now go home and get ready to send our oldest daughter, Audrey, off to college for the first time. Audrey and Meg were able to spend quality sister time together. I think this week will enable Meg to let her sister go for a little while.
Thanks for opening you home to us for the time we needed together. You can feel the love you have both put into Crystal Sands and her gardens. I know that God will bless you in all you continue to do on the island because you understand how to share and be humble. I hope our paths cross again someday. You have left your footprints in the sands of our lives.
Thanks again, Todd, Diane, Audrey & Meg, Concord, NC.
We have had an absolutely superb holiday here in your Crystal Sands Villa. The perfect holiday spot. So family friendly; the beach was perfect with fishing, starfish, crabs and boats. The children (and the adults!) adored the pool. We loved watching the lizards and the hummingbirds – Daniel didn’t manage to catch any lizards, although we did try!
It has truly been like our own slice of paradise – we really feel like it’s home and don’t want to leave. We hope to be back soon.
The weather has bee idyllic – when too hot at the beach, we’ve cooled off in the pool or swung in hammocks in the Tiki Hut.
Everything we could have ever wanted was here and we haven’t felt the need to venture out. Mama, Grandpa and Daniel had a fantastic boat trip out with you – a very memorable day, particularly seeing Jo Jo the dolphin and collecting beautiful shells from Shell Island. Thank you for inviting them – they loved spending time with you.
We hope to see you soon. Daniel (aged 4) Ellie (aged 3) Joseph (aged 1) Rachel, Anna, Bob and Clare.
We enjoyed our stay in your villa very much! The hard work you both put into making this location so special is really evident.
The landscaping is truly beautiful & everything about the villa itself made for a comfortable, relaxing stay full of solitude.
We tried Mango Reef, Coco Bistro, Horse-Eyed Jacks, Tiki Hut, Aqua, Baci, Bay Bistro, Magnolia’s (for our 19th anniversary), Las Brisas (across the road at Neptune Villas) for dinners while here on Provo. Only “Baci” disappointed us (linguini pescatore & tiny scallops swimming in an inch of butter!) After reading so many reviews, we were surprised that Mango Reef Restaurant was our favorite for both quality food (taste & presentation) & friendly service (“Trevor Thomas” was a great waitor.) Well, I guess it’s back to the land where folks don’t “give way” so easily, but we will be able to remember our time here & smile, already anxious to get back and visit again!
Thanks again! Doug & Donna

P. S. – why pay for a pedicure when you can walk beaches for miles and miles and miles…..
Our family has had a fabulous week at your lovely villa!
The beach was perfect for our 2 small people, and all the grown-ups enjoyed bobbing in the beautiful bay.
The villa worked well for our diverse group. And your gardens are spectacular!
I caught several taking advantage of the hammocks for siestas.
We finally got one of the legendary sunsets Thursday evening – WOW!

Our family has had such a wonderful time here at the villa! We’ve gotten to do so much, also.
We went to many different beaches…..Grace Bay, Coral Gardens, and there we snorkeled at White House Reef. We saw turtles and really pretty fish. Also, our days on Sapodilla Bay have been relaxing and we enjoyed it very much.
Another day me, my cousin, my aunt and uncle went to visit Beaches Resort. We stayed the whole day enjoying the big pools and beach, but when we came back here, it was quite a relief.
For dinner, we went out 2 nights to the Tiki Bar and Las Brisas (across the street). Both places were really good, but across the street had a very nice breeze and beautiful view, not to mention the food was great, too.
Overall, our stay was very pleasant. WE loved waking up to the gorgeous blue water and warm sun! This is definitely a place to come back to!! We had such a great time. Thanks for everything, especially our refrigerator issue!!!
Sincerely, Katie
Las Brisas across the street in the Neptune Villa was a life saver. Good food, great people, awesome ambiance and there’s always a good breeze.
Beware the wengweng, though!
Captain Bill took me out on a pirate exploration. Who knew all those years I was dating my very own pirate! I also got to see a cuttlefish snorkeling and that was just a dream come true.
This was a great little piece of paradise.

Just as others who have left messages in this book, we were fortunate enough to celebrate our 40th anniversary with children, grandchildren and other family members. We could not have selected a better setting.
This home away from home was well furnished and equipped. The weather was perfect and this beach is spectacular for kids and adults alike.
Your attention to detail is appreciated and you were very helpful with all of our questions and requests.
We look forward to future opportunities to once again visit this wonderful site! Here are some of our discoveries….
[lots of beautiful sketches of lots of neat things around the property!]
P.S. from the previous page…
Captain Bill’s boat trip was fun for the pirate lesson, starfish adventure, but the iguana and snorkel part was just OK.
The best snorkeling was Coral Gardens & Smith’s Reef (it’s free!)
The greatest adventure for small children was the Undersea Explorer: Semi-Sub. We went out for 1 hour and saw tons of fish, manta ray, turtles (7) and a nurse shark! The kids were so excited. Well worth the $$. Did I mention it was clean and air-conditioned? Even Jeremiah our 5 month old loved it!
We also snorkeled this bay – facing the water, go to the right along the cliffs, we saw many fish, a squid and several lobster!
If you want to buy fresh fish, drive to Five Cays and find the “fish market”, go around 2-4 pm & you can buy it there. They also have fresh conch 5 lb for $25.
Thanks for the setting to fill our hearts and cameras with memories to last forever!
Jason, Jen, Sofia, Juliana, Jack & Jeremiah
Thanks for all.

Thank you for everything! We had the vacation of a lifetime. Relax. Relax. Relax. The Beach & House are beautiful. We enjoyed dining at Mango Reef and Hemmingways. A must to do is snorkel at Coral Gardens. Fantastic Awesome & Beautiful

What an amazing vacation we had! Your house is in the perfect location – great beach, water & privacy!! This was the relaxation we all had needed from the real world. Thank you for everything. We hope to come back.
Bonefishing was great! We had a great guide named Darryn. He was the least expensive guide we could find yet he worked very hard to put is on fish was very professional, and had a really nice boat. He also turned us on to some nice walk wade flats down Venetian Road that we fished on our own. You can find Darryn at www.turksandcaicosbonefishing.com. Schuyler, Becca, Dylan, Katie Big Sky Montana
Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with us. We had a blast & much needed relaxation.

Thank you for an AMAZING vacation! -B
We had the most wonderful vacation here at Crystal Sands. We saw many things like starfish, lots of crabs & stingrays. While we were here, we ate at Mango Reef, Las Brisas, Baci – all very good. Thank you soooo much for the boat ride. It was spectacular. The kids loved the tubing. This is definitely one of the best vacations we have been on. The house is amazing and the beach is even better. Thank you for such a great experience and holiday.

For an extended family vacation – we couldn’t have asked for more. This trip, two years in the making, brought our families from Toronto and Ottawa together to celebrate “Bubba’s” 65th birthday.
For most of us, this was our first trip to TCI, the first in over a dozen years for others. We were all blown away by our accommodations at Crystal Sands. We had expectations to take many excursions to discover the island, but we found little need to leave our beach, which for the most part, we enjoyed ourselves.
We did enjoy a trip on Captain Bill’s boat. It was neat to learn some pirate lore and to see some more of the untouched parts of the island. We only ate out twice during our two week stay – once across the street at Neptune and a must to the Tiki Hut. All other meals we enjoyed on our porch enjoying the fantastic sunsets.
Our group of ten used the entire villa, but used the upstairs as sleeping quarters only, preferring the access to the beach from downstairs.
The tiki hut was the kids private playhouse and the adults could barely be pried away from the beach.
We were treated by some amazing castle building on our beach and each day the kids would see what had been created by our beach visitors.
We took an adventure to the top of Sapodilla Hill and enjoyed the views of the entire bay. Kids enjoyed their daily treks to find starfish and return them to the sea. We saw a jellyfish and only one sting (wash with warm water and shampoo – apply cortisone cream – good as new.)
We leave here with memories of Crystal Sands embedded in our minds and the memories made with our family are irreplaceable. We only hope that we can return to Crystal Sands again. Maybe Bubba;s 80th?

P.S. Chicken Chicken and Mothers Pizza have great take-out!
We leave today to return to the “Northland” and SNOW! Our week here has been very relaxing and all of us wish we could stay longer. Beach time has been the best ever! The kids and grandkids explored the wrecks, built sand castles & played in the beautiful turquoise water. Unforgettable!
The W and F gang
I must have lived a “good” life because here I am in “Heaven”!! Hard to believe people live here year around. We are sad to leave today but happy we found this place. SOO relaxing. Landscaping is perfect, VIEW fantastic, Beach even better.
Today we return to Colorado, (the other place God spends a lot of time)! We will see how the new little block calves survived the Colorado blizzard that hit while we were here and dig a path from the hay barn to the house for the “outside” cat.

Your villa is spectacular. To wake up every morning to that view was truly awe inspiring. I have never been to a beach so pristine and calm. Where you can sit in the water with drink in hand? I loved Da Conch Shack. The conch fritters were delicious. We ate lunch at the Grace Bay Club one afternoon. I have never been to a bar/lounge that had a kid on the beach. I had to take a picture. We each had a massage at the Regent Palm. I had Norma. She was fantastic. My cousin had Duane and he was excellent as well. My mom and I spent an afternoon with Captain Bill. My 10 year old would have LOVED that. I had a week with my cousins and my mom that I will never forget and will cherish always. I hope to return soon. I loved it here. Thanks again for building your beautiful villa so I could stay here.
Love, Betsi, VA
This was everything I’d hoped it would be – the villa (Beach Level) is an absolute delight. The views are extraordinary, the white sand beach just a lovely, short walk away is incredible. So quiet (mostly) and peaceful. To have been able to bring my daughter and nieces here for this very emotional week has bee so special.
It has been a beautiful time for us. It was great to be in such a private part of the island. The landscaping is perfect! To wake every morning and throughout the day, to the gorgeous view of the palms, walkway, beach and ocean is so special. We’ll hold these memories forever.
Our last night we went to Magnolia’s – what a delightful place overlooking the marina at Turtle Cove. The food and drinks were delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.
I hope to return someday – with as many of us as are here now.
Thank you for this beautiful place in paradise!

(My daughter said it all on the opposite page!)
What started as a little trip to celebrate our 10th Anniversary turned into a fantastic vacation with friends.
The Crystal Sands Villa was the main reason we enjoyed our first visit to the TCI. We certainly felt at home and the beach, pool, gardens & sunsets made it easy to relax!
Thanks for everything!

The best vacation in the best place with the best hosts..ever. The place is truly heaven. Thank you so much for taking such great care of us ~ from boat rides and diving to rescuing the girls at the airport, you made us all feel more like guests than renters. Everything has been wonderful!

We had a wonderful week here at Crystal Sands! The beach was awesome. We saw stingrays, many crabs, fish and starfish. Thank you so much for taking us out on the boat, it was a lot of fun! While we were here we ate at Baci, Mango Reed and Las Brisas and thought they were all really good. This was definitely one of our favorite vacations. Thank you so much again for everything!
The Gs from Canada!
This week was everything we hoped for and more. We savored the islands sunshine, sea breeze and the beach. What a view to wake up to every morning. First day (full) we saw stingrays, starfish and crabs – right off the front steps! Your place is the perfect place for a family vacation. We hope to return someday and no other place will even be considered – we want back here on Sapodilla Bay.

PARADISE!!!
Jeff, Rhonda, Henderson, KY
Paradise is certainly what we found here at your villa! So many memories of walking down to the beach, dining on the patio, and family gatherings at the pool!
We were impressed with the reknown chefs at so many restaurants.
Exploring the island was fascinating from collecting conch on Long Bay Beach, snorkeling on Grace Bay, dining on Turtle Cove, and our favorite swimming spot was right here in Sapodilla Bay!
Enjoyed our chats with you and wish you well in all your endeavors on the island.
We hope to return to enjoy your paradise!
Bill and Sandy, Dennis and Shirley, Lisa and John, Meghan and Kurt
This spot truly is paradise. We enjoyed our week here and will definitely recommend to anyone who is coming this way for vacation. The diving is great.
It was a great place to celebrate anniversaries. We had one couple celebrate their 25th and one their 21st. We were able to buy lobster from a boat that was anchored in front of the house. It was a great meal and a great way to start the week.
Gladwin, Wendy and Isaac (NC)
Best of luck in all your ventures.
Dana & Scott have a great villa here and being 'on island’ landlords makes a difference in having a top quality home. We took both floors – kids downstairs and adults upstairs – great for them and for us. Scuba diving was great – we dove with both Provo Divers and Flamingo Divers. Both offered small groups in different dive locations.
Expect a call from Capt. Bill of Outback Adventures. See his ad in the magazines. It’s a great trip for the day with unique snorkeling at Turtle Rock (that’s the rock in the distance you can see from the balcony), then pirates cave to see actual treasure maps – just go. Have fun.
Martin and Lucy, Houston, TX
Thanks for the memories! We loved our stay here and kept wondering where you live; because how could you have a place like this and not live here? Wonderful time for kids and adults! So peaceful. We loved it! We have named the lizards, butterflies & hummingbirds. And after Captain Bill’s trip, we are going home with real conch shells we found; not bought. It was heavenly here – and everyone is right - after visiting Grace Bay, you simply long to return to “our” bay!
Deborah, Jacob, Greg & Kate, Virginia
Thanks for the great memories staying in your villa! This was the first time traveling with our 5 yr. old twins and a 2 year old. We were a little leery, but all went well! The loved snorkeling on Reef Peepers & the Glow worm cruise with Capt. Bill! Your house is beautiful and I am in tears as I leave this paradise. I take with me many memories with my family & our friends who stayed here. Again, it’s a beautiful place and we hope to be back! Our best to you.

“The Ernst” from N.J.
We had an absolute wonderful 2 weeks in your fabulous villa. Sapodilla Bay is without a doubt the best beach on the island. It’s like a giant swimming pool! We found many establishments closed due to it being the “off season”, but since we mostly wanted to lounge, it was fine by us! Some things we did do include finding the Sapodilla Hill Rock carvings, going SNUBA diving with Jody at Coral Gardens, and Captain Bill’s pirate excursion. If Captain Bill calls you to go – GO! The captain and crew are jovial & entertaining and you won’t find a better deal (check the desk drawer for a card/brochure) We ate at the Saltmills Café, Bella Luna Ristorante, The Sharkbite Café and Baci Ristorante. All are fabulous! The conch fritelle at Bella Luna, the chili fries at Sharkbite (and 50 cent wing night on Mondays!), the chicken club at the Saltmills Café, and pizza at Baci – all to die for! Try some conch! Also be sure to stop by Mama’s gift shop at Ports of Cal, if for nothing else but to meet Mama!
We loved watching the anole and curly tailed lizards run around the gardens surrounding the villa – and they are only found on these islands! We also enjoyed watching the various birds and bugs, and have taken quite a liking to the bland-and-silver Agriope Orb weaver spider that likes to build her web in the bushes near the lower level patio. She is quite big and eats tons of bugs, so please leave her be! (She is not dangerous at all!)
Do you love dogs? Then maybe you’d like to volunteer as a courier for a puppy to reach it’s new home. The “Potcake” dogs here on the island are very special and the people over at Potcake Place help them find homes both here, and in other countries. They rely on volunteers to help transport puppies to other airports, and it will cost you nothing!
We are taking a little pup with us back to Los Angeles, where his new mom will be anxiously awaiting him at the airport. If you think you can handle an extra carry on bag, and this sounds rewarding to you, the give Natalie a call over at the Potcake Place – you won’t regret it!
I’m sure I’m forgetting things, but there has been too much fun to jot it all down! Thanks again, Scott & Dana! You are beautiful people with a beautiful home. We wish you all the best in the future and hope to someday see you again!
Sincerely, Randy & Kris – (our honeymoon!)

Thanks for all your wonderful hospitality and attention to our creature comforts. Cathy and I both thank you for the vision ou had to build Crystal Sands and for your perseverance to see the project through. You’ve created a special place to de-stress and spiritually renew.
This is our 5th trip to TCI and our experience here at Crystal Sands has made it the best so far. Hope to see you again in the not too distant future. P.S. The boating day was awesome.
Brian and Cathy, Westchester, PA
We had a wonderful time on Sapodilla Bay. Your home is beautiful and I took many pics to show to friends and family with a plan to send you lots of business!
Please enjoy the Shiraz and Soave. Hope to see you again soon.
All the best, Valerie, Craig and MaryAnn, Brampton, ON, and Carey, N.C.
First of all, What a sunset! Nothing better than a glass of wine and good company to make this place paradise. We enjoyed everything this beach has to offer.
Happy Holidays.

What a great beach house! We enjoyed the fabulous beach and sunsets. Thank you for sharing a piece of your paradise with us. We hope to come back soon to visit.

You lucky dogs! What a place. Can’t wait to come back! I just need to sell everything I own. Won’t take long.
Thanks. Tracy & Todd, Orange County, CA
What a wonderful location you have for this place. We drove to every beach on this island and Sapodilla Bay is, by far, the best beach here! It was perfect for all our children. They snorkeled, looked for starfish and built countless sand castles. We never once had to worry about them getting swept out to sea!
We went to eat at a few places. Our favorite was the “Iguana” Restaurant in the Saltmills Plaza. Great food, drinks and service. Pizza Pizza. Tiki Hut on Wed night – if you want chicken or ribs & nothing else. We got take-out a lot from “Chicken, Chicken”. Ribs are great. Chicken wings are cheap – our kids love it! Da Conch Shack is good too – watch the guys collect the conchs from the water and “de-shell” them! Across the road from here is the Las Brisas Restaurant – convenient and not too bad of a place. We also tried “O’Soleil”.
When Captain Bill from Outback Adventures calls, just book the trip. It’s a very entertaining way to see the south side of the island and the pirate’s cave is awesome! The submarine ride at Turtle Cove is great, too – especially for young kids too small to snorkel. The Conch Farm is neat to see – tours are very short (10 min or so), but cool to see how they grow.
Wonderful views and sunsets, lots of privacy and beautiful weather. What more could you ask for!

Thanks so much, Dana Scott – we had the best holiday ever! Who would have imagined waking up on Christmas Eve with nothing to do but relax! – PRICELESS! We loved so much about the island – your place is beautiful and had everything we needed, the food here is great – Hemmingways & Baci were two favorites.
The kids (all 6, ages 5-16) had so much fun just playing on the beach and in the beautiful calm ocean. We loved exploring some highlights –
The dolphin coming up to our boat to say “hello” in Grace Bay (and me jumping in to swim with her!)
Breathtaking sunsets!
Sea turtles in Coral Gardens
The rainbow over turtle rock
Finding amazing shells at the deserted island
Looking at the stars at night – and seeing a shooting star
Tubing and “almost” seeing a shark!
Getting to know you guys!
Thanks again for everything!
Hopefully, we’ll be back someday!

Walking out to the beach has been so convenient for the little ones (ages 4 & 3) without having to “pack up”.
We’re all well rested and relaxed. Thank you!!

Words cannot begin to express the wonderful time we all had. Beautiful house, location & the best sunset in the world. We cannot wait to come back. I will never forget my shark snorkel experience in Grace Bay. He was huge (25% larger). You both are the nicest down home people in the world. Great location, Great Beach. Thank you for allowing us to stay at Crystal Sands. This is the best trip we have been on, not to mention the best place on the island. Can’t wait to come back, can’t wait to see you two again. Thanks so much!

Your friendship has become very special to us! Looking forward to 2009! You are the best! Thank you for sharing your faith with us! It is so important to us!

Great diving, private beach, lobster straight off the boat. We are heading home to a blizzard and will miss the warmth & beautiful colors.
Some suggestions
Great service at Ocean Vibes dive shop
Wonderful food at Coco Bistro
You can purchase lobster directly from the fishermen.

[Editor’s note: You have to find the fisherman, of course!]
We have been on 25 or so islands in the Caribbean and this one is in our top five. It is wonderful for children with the shallow water with little current. We saw huge stingrays, many fish and one curious turtle. The island had good food, but little shopping which was good for my wallet. We were the only people on the beach almost everyday. We visited every beach on the map. It was time wasted. This beach is it. It is even better than Grace Bay. Thanks for the hammocks. A Great touch. Kids loved the pool. I suggest to other guests to try the Conch Shack for local flavor. Conch fritters rule! We have sailed by these islands countless times and said we would go there one day. (WELL WE DID IT.) And thanks to you and your cool laid back place, we're glad we did.
Thanks. Steve & Valarie, Eric & Morgan, Knoxville, TX A Pirates Life for Me!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your house. It was all we hoped it would be, wonderful home, great location. Our time here flew by too quickly. Some of the things we enjoyed during our stay:
Trip to Amanyara/Malcolm Beach. We had a great lunch there, the best meal we had on the island.
Restaurants we enjoyed:
Da Conch Shack, Tiki Hut, Hemingways
We took a 3 hour boat ride with J&B Tours, visited islands and snorkeled. We enjoyed the reef at Smith's Beach and Whitehouse Beach.
We flew to Grand Turk for the day, Fabulous Place! A true island experience.
Thank you.
(NYC) & (Mich)
What a wonderful vacation! We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay! Your gardens and view of the ocean were a delight to wake up to each morning. We also loved watching the sunset over the ocean and seeing the stars at night. We enjoyed dining at Bay Bistro and Hemingways. We also liked the local taste of da Conch Shack for lunch. We will have many wonderful memories of our vacation to the Turks and Caicos and our stay at Crystal Sands Villa.
Thank you, Scott and Dana
Sincerely,
Eric & Erin, Reedsburg, WI
Thank you so much for a fabulous vacation spot. It's going to be tough going back to Minnesota; away from the sun, sand and beautiful blue waters.
We have appreciated all of your suggestions - Mickey and Jayne at Flamingo Divers were great!
We enjoyed every meal whether it was Pizza, Pizza on your patio overlooking the ocean, Da Conch Shack for some local flair, and Coco Bistro for one of our favorite meals ever!
Many thanks for opening your home ~ will leave with great memories...and a nice tan.

Fantastic house, great planning and design on your parts. We came with our daughter, son-in-law, 2 year old grandson and their nanny. We had the downstairs, they had the upstairs. Your landscaping is beautiful - another great job. Finally, the beach is perfect for young children. I have never seen a better beach for kids under 5 or 6. It is also wonderful for adults. This is a gorgeous and peaceful spot.
We ate at Shark Bite twice and loved it. The Tiki Hut had atmosphere but the food was just so-so. Ate at Coco Bistro on our last night and it was the best - not on the water but what a lovely setting in their outdoor garden. The staff was wonderful and the food divine. Snorkeled the wreck out by the orange buoy - a good location. Saw many lobsters, some barracuda and lots of the unusual Caribbean fish.
Biggest negative was South Dock Rd. which was not road for the first four days of out stay. However, they have been black-topping it for the past four days and it will probably be fine for your next guests.
All in all, a great house in a great location. We had a good time.
Bill B.
All that Bill says is true. The garden, the beach, the house, the butterflies, the humming birds, the spitting crabs, the pool, the stars - everything was lovely. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot.

WOW! What a fantastic location Crystal Sands Villa has! This was a surprise 40th birthday trip – our first time to TCI – and we enjoyed every minute! We had some rainy issues to work around each day…but when you’re on “Island Time”…who cares!! The grounds, the pool, the entertaining lizards, the sunsets were all fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the ground level suite with easy access to the beach (since we were there ALL day!!) We had great dining experiences everywhere we went! Shark Bite. Tiki Hut. Magnolia was exquisite! Horse-Eye Jacks and Aqua were also fabulous. The girls in the group spent some time at The Regent Palms Spa and had an amazing experience. (Be sure to ask for Earl – he’s fantastic!!) We rented a car and enjoyed navigating left-side driving and “giving way” at all the roundabouts. What fun this trip was. Adults only - 2 brothers and wives – but we KNOW we’ll need to bring our 3 girls back to enjoy the beach. It was too fun. We made some great memories here and hope to return sometime soon! Thanks!Warmly,
Todd & Chris, Flower Mound, TX, Jody & Stacey, Dallas, TX
We had the greatest time here in Provo at your unbelievable villa. We loved the beautiful beach here at Sapodilla Bay and had some amazing days in the sun.
Trip Highlights:
#1 – Both boat trips with you guys! The snorkeling and the sight seeing were magnificent!! You both are so welcoming and we are hopeful to another visit here in the future!
*Coral Gardens was awesome, too. The sea turtles were so cool. The kids really enjoyed snorkeling!
*Restaurants we loved…Gecko, Baci, Hemmingways, Danny Buoys, Aqua, Horse-Eye Jacks, etc. Not one seemed better than the next!
*The Chalk Sound iridescent colors are something else to see.
*Personally, I really enjoyed running into Silly Creek and spending an hour a day alone in my thoughts. It was very relaxing!
Thank you all for all your hospitality and company! Can’t wait to send you the pictures via email! Keep in touch! Happy New Year! Wishing you both the best!

Now when I close my eyes and think “paradise”, this wonderful villa and private beach will come to mind! WOW what more can I say.
We are so sad to be leaving but we do know we will be back. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my 40th birthday!
Our children loved the pool!! What a God send. They also loved the geckos, humming birds and local doggies.
Your sunsets on this beach are truly amazing. We have many pictures to take home with us.
Snorkeling, snuba diving, and diving were enjoyed by all. Mike enjoyed seeing a shark was too close!!!
I myself loved the Regent Palms Spa. WOW! I’d come back for that alone!
All in all, Dana & Scott, Thank you so much. You both are angels sent from above to share your beautiful home with strangers. You’re always welcome in COLD Canada!
This was a trip we all will never forget!

What a wonderful way to celebrate our 40th anniversary – our whole family together in paradise! We couldn’t have asked for better weather, a more fantastic house or more congenial hosts. My grandson couldn’t have said it better – “I wish my sandcastle could last forever!” Well, our memories will!

Hi!
I just want to say that the aloe is a lifesaver. I don’t know if it was just left here or what, but it made every sunburn feel better!! Oh, and I guess I’ll comment on the rest of the vacation here, too. A-MAZ-ING. Period. Incredible view and just perfect weather. Seriously amazing. Thank you so much.
Emily, Cincinnati, OH
We gathered from Montana, Chicago, NE Ohio, SW Ohio and New Jersey – 13 of us – a lucky number for us as we shared family memories and made some new ones in your delightful beachfront home.

It has been the best ever! We had so much fun just walking down to the beach and relaxing and watching the sailboats and beautiful view. The pool was also a hit after spending too much time in the salty ocean. We also took a small hike up Sapodilla Hill and the view was incredible. It gave you an overview of the island. To get to the hill, we walked down the beach to the parking lot and asked security where the opening in the path was. We were lucky enough to be here in time to see the glo worms which was cool and we also went parasailing which was so fun and we went snorkeling on a catamaran. It was very rough, so we didn’t go to the normal spot, but still saw many fish and a huge, huge manta ray. So, if you’re just getting here, enjoy your time because the time sure does fly by! Today we’re leaving and I feel as if we just got here. Or if you are Dana and Scott, thank you times a million! This has been the best vacation ever!

And the sunsets are SO beautiful!! And hard to miss!
Thank you very much for sharing your home. The family reunion was great. Lots of relaxing and visiting.
We enjoyed every day – Jerry and Nina, Livingston, MT
The scenic views and tropical breezes were fantastic. Thanks for your prompt attention to the minor maintenance needs. Jeanette & Hal
One suggestion....cut down the bush/tree behind the palm tree. [Editor's note: We did! Now the view is great!] Other than that it was wonderful. There's nothing better than getting up in the morning & strolling the beach.
It's amazing the development going on the other side since we were last here. It makes your bay that more peaceful. We went to Grand Turk one day and found it very laid back and quaint. We also did the boat thing one day which we always enjoy.
We've been to many islands over the years and each has their pros and cons. (I'm a dog person and it breaks my heart to see all the strays.) I can honestly say when it comes to water and beaches the Turks are number one in my book.
We're off to stay on Grace Bay for a few days before heading home. Thanks for a great stay.
Bob & Kim, Dallas, TX
We are going home today. We had a fabulous time. There were 8 of us for a week. We rented both homes.
We had a great time hanging out at the beach ALL day on a couple of days. Went snorkeling on the Glass Bottom Boat. Made wonderful meals a few nights. Very relaxing vacation. Love the Island! Thanks, Dana & Scott

We had a great vacation - highlights include snorkeling tour, coral reef, and snorkeling on Sapodilla Beach - the best beaches - Malcolm - definitely worth the drive! Grace Bay Beaches and, of course, right here in Sapodilla Bay.
We ate out for lunch and supper every day - enjoyed Mango Reef and Orchid - driving was a challenge for us with little kids - eating our is not a relaxing experience with a 1 yr. Old, 2 yr. Old, 4 yr old and 5 yr. Old!
There were 12 of us here - the house was very comfy! Definitely a place we would recommend.

We agree with everyone else and loved our stay at the villa! There were 11 of us in the entire villa. We spent many hours enjoying the beach. Our 5 year old grandson loved finding hermit crabs on the beach. Also went to the Tiki Hut - a great place & kid friendly. Chartered a 21 foot boat from Ocean Vibes and went on a 5 hour tour which included snorkeling, Iguana Island, sand dollar searching and much more! Ask for Flex if you go.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay here....it's really Paradise

We went to the Beach every day. We loved Tiki Hut's Wednesday special and watching the sunset! Hope to stay here soon!

Thank you for a great stay. I like playing in the sand. I also like snorkeling with my sister and my dad.

Thank you for a wonderful experience at your place. The beach is so relaxing and quiet. It almost seems like we own a piece of the beach for ourselves. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation.

P.S. I will be looking into renting again for our family. We have 3 boys - 3 grandchildren, one son married, no child, one son and girlfriend, one son married with 3 child.
We have enjoyed our time here so much! All the stress of daily life disappears so quickly. The house is so comfortable, beach is the best and we ate ourselves around the island! We all agreed our favorite meal was at Magnolias which we saved for the last night. The food was wonderful, view spectacular and the wait staff friendly! Can't wait to join you again.

Waking up to the view every morning was truly a blessing. It's been like living in paradise. The water was perfect, not many shells but that's okay. Only a few rainy days kept us out of the water. This island is probably one of the most beautiful in all the Caribbean!! The house is designed perfectly for rest and relaxation, form the hammocks to the palapas. Thanks for a great vacation.
You should know:
Crystal Sands Villa at the Beach
Is a beautiful Woman
Or handsome man
Who's unaware of its own charms
And therefore appealingly modest
While startlingly brilliant.
His turquoise eyes seldom blink
Her gentle snores lull
You to sleep
Under a gauzy night.
Beware!
For you will never
Want to leave.
Not even to visit
The Conch farm
Which you must
Or to sail
A hobiecat
From the Beach
At Ocean Beach West
Under the friendly
Guidance of Michael
(Be careful not to jump
Off the boat
With your camera
strapped to you)
Or to eat
By the Harbor
At the Tiki Hut
Or on the Fly
From Lamonts.
Don't shop at IGA
Unless you savor
Sticker Shock.
Instead, stay
And stay
With this beautiful
Woman
Or handsome man
Staring into his turquoise eyes
Or napping in her hammocks
Wrapped in her gentle snores
And refraining from combing
His tangled palm trees.
I haven't left
But I suspect
I will long to return
Long after I'm gone
And remember this
As though it were
A delicious dream.
Oh, what a wonderful vacation we have had! We used to own a house in Cayman kai on Grand Cayman and were looking for something as secluded, beautiful and great for children - we found it!
The house was well appointed and the sunsets from the second floor are fabulous!
The best part for us was the fact that our two year old son was able to go so far out into the ocean, not get tumbled by waves and play, play, play! The toy closet was GREAT! We made friends with a couple having dinner at Shark Bite the first night here. They are living on a sail boat with their 2 year old and they anchored in the bay so the kids could play and we could go out together.
We ate at:
Shark Bite - very good! We liked grouper in curry sauce.
Tiki Hut - very dry fish, but nice atmosphere
Orchid - (at the Alexandra - We really liked this and the film festival was going on at the same time and was a blast!)
Coco Bistro - Oh my God! Not on the ocean but BEAUTIFUL and Sooooo good! Please try - Yum, yum, yum!
We dove with Caicos Adventures & Flamingo Divers & did a night dive with Mathew at Caicos Adventures. The night dive was one of the best I have ever done. Caicos was great with really good boats and not crowded until our last day. Flamingo is wonderful people. They don=t take more than 8 divers. We liked going to French Key best. G-Spot & Rock 'n Roll - Have fun!
We will miss this place and will look back at our pics with fond memories.
Thank you so much Scott & Dana! We loved it.

It's amazing how fast it went! We had a wonderful time. The house and surroundings were beautiful. We had a day or two of bad weather and although the other beaches were rough, our Sapodilla Bay remained so tranquil, as usual. The only thing we and our friends who stayed below us could recommend is to remove the big tree (bush?) In front of the large palm tree on the beach. It would open up the view to the beach so much! [Editor's note again: We did! The bush grows like crazy here!]We were here once before on Provo five years ago and it's incredible how much it's changed. We tried to so some different things this time, so went to Grand Turk, which we really enjoyed. It is lovely, clean and quaint with its own charm. We took Air Turks and Caicos which was less expensive than SkyKing. We had to go see the new Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville! Then, David played golf at the Provo Golf Course and one day we chartered a boat and captain to go island hopping and snorkeling. We would strongly recommend Capt. Sammy who was about a third of what the large charger companies were charging. He is out of Leeward Marina. We hate to go and look forward to returning - thanks!
Davie & Hiromi - Dallas, TX
This is our last full day here. I can't believe it's come to an end! We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our 8th anniversary! We also consider it the honeymoon we never had!
I learned to snorkel this week and Jeff went snorkeling for the first time in about 25 years. We say so much on our first snorkel trip to Coral Gardens:
A shark, several barracudas, three sea turtles, a sting ray, a puffer fish, several sea urchins, a lobster, a sea cucumber, parrot fish (lots), a grouper.
I couldn't have asked for a better first snorkel experience.
I know we had a list of things we wanted to do while we were here, but time just seemed to fly. We'll just have to come back so we can finish our list!
Thank you Scott & Dana for sharing this beautiful place with us. We will remember this trip for years to come!!
Beautiful water, wand, beaches, sunsets, wonderful friends...who could ask for a better vacation?!

Dana & Scott, thanks so much for renting your amazing villa! It was our family's first time away at Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have previously stayed at Beaches and rented a different villa on Grace Bay Beach but this one was so perfect. It was the first vacation my husband & I could actually sit on the beach and let the kids go in and out of the water on their own. It's so calm and predictable and definitely the best beach on the island. We went deep sea fishing with Gwendolyn for a half day (excellent). Reef Peepers 2 day boat cruise (great for little kids), conch farm, Beaches Day Pall (call way in advance to reserve, expensive but worth it) - nobody checks bracelets because there aren't any! So, once you are in, you are like any other guest.
The holiday was amazing and enjoyed by all the kiddies Kiera (2), Jack (3), Jade (5) and Anna (9). Having both the downstairs and upstairs units was very convenient & spacious. The view from the hammocks upstairs on the balcony was priceless. I will be dreaming about it as soon as we return home. Happy Holidays & all the best for the New year!
Toronto, ON Canada
Thanks so much Dana & Scott for the use of the Penthouse during our stay here in Turks and Caicos. You have a great place here and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed the privacy of the beach (would have loved to have the use of a kayak) and enjoyed cooking in. The kitchen had everything we needed (first time I've made muffins in a casserole dish, but they turned out great!) We enjoyed barbecuing on the deck. You have a lovely home here and we'd love to return someday!

The memories we will take home to Virginia are enough to get me through 2007! The sunsets you will never want to miss, even one, they are truly a gift every evening!! You can explore the island, have some great meals out (Magnolias a must), casual dining at Grace Bay Point Grace Terrace for lunch spectacular). But you will always want to rush home to Crystal Sands to our little Sapodilla Bay. If you're looking for anything more than what is free, the beautiful turquoise waters, the sunsets on the upper deck, a possible rainbow, (we had two), you've missed the gift from Dana & Scott.
Today, I am relaxed, refreshed and will keep these beautiful memories of our little Sapodilla Bay in my heart as long as I can.
Until next time....John & Charlotte
I can't explain how beautiful it is here, especially at night when the sun is going down. The water is perfect for kids - warm & calm & a mecca for starfish! This was a dream come true & I can't wait to come back & share the experience all over again. I want my children to come back over & over again so the memory of here lives on forever.

The weather was perfect for our winter getaway and the celebration of our 43rd wedding anniversary.
We so enjoyed the amenities of the Penthouse - especially the porch viewing the water and the sunsets. We met some very interesting "boaties". They added flavor to the beach.
We ventured away from Crystal Sands from time to time but both agreed the best place was this location on Sapodilla Bay. It is truly peaceful and beautiful.
Enjoyed meeting the two of you. Good luck with your island ventures.
Susy & Jim
We found out that our one year old loves the beach too! The view from the balcony made us feel like we were sitting on the beach all day long The modern conveniences (internet, TV, AC) were icing on the cake. I don't think we ever quite figured out what the right size coffee filter is, but again it was great to have such conveniences! WE are returning home tan and happy. We will definitely be back!

We have certainly enjoyed our week long stay here at Crystal Sands Villa. The beach was great for the kids (Sara, 7, Kevin, 4 & Emma, 2) as well as for the adults,. We say 3 stingrays from the balcony. The sunsets were amazing!! Snorkeling at Coral Gardens was great...some of us saw a turtle!! Took a 12 day tour with J&B Tours to Little Water Cay, Water Cay and Parrot Cay....they also take you to a beach where we ALL found sand dollars!! We also went on the Undersea Explorer which was awesome!
This trip to Turks was to be a whole family vacation, but sadly in
February we lost our Dad/Pop unexpectedly. Although he was not
physically with us, he was certainly here in spirit giving us
beautiful sunsets and helping us find sand dollars.
Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful villa. We have great memories and pictures to always remind us of this great place!
Now we head back to reality...a Nor Easter snow storm predicted..!!!

End of week. Loved the place. Sorry we didn’t get to mingle with you guys. [We were on vacation ourselves!] Everybody needs a vacation, even if it’s from their own paradise. Thanks so much. (Anyone “Coyoba” is a good bet for food).
Troy & Kevin
Our week enjoying your piece of paradise has come to an end and I am kicking myself for not booking two weeks! But it wouldn’t be any easier to leave after two weeks, either.
Your beautiful home was/is far beyond anything we could have dreamed. We drove around the entire island and did not find one other spot that we would have rather stayed at.
We me out wonderful “downstairs” neighbors and enjoyed visiting with them a time or two, but most of the time, we never even saw each other….and to think I was worried about having to “share our space!” There is more than enough room for everyone!! John & Sarah & family (on one of the sailboats) took us for a wonderful sail & snorkel to Turtle Rock – what a pleasure!!
We only dined early and very casually (Shark Bite, Tiki Hut, Hey Jose’s , Gilleys at Leeward, Chicken Chicken and Barefoot Café) so that we wouldn’t have to miss a sunset form our balcony, followed by an evening dip in beautiful Sapodilla Bay. Thanks for the memories of our week in paradise. We hope to return again soon, and to bring friends along.

A pleasure to meet you both! Your place here at Sapodilla Bay is just like we hoped for and the web site was everything it said it was. We truly enjoyed coming back in the afternoons after a day of fun all around the island. It was no sitting around for us! With 2 teenagers we were fishing, snorkeling, wake boarding and always on the go. We come from ski country so the 1st time wake boarding was a true hit. Nautique Sports is the way to go. Ask for Doug, Carrie and Brady – they were the best. For fishing, go with Mark from Gwendolyn. He is awesome – a true fisherman. Ask to meet “Holly”. Snorkeling at Malcolm Beach Road is a true adventure. 4WD is a must. Smith Reef by Turtle Cove Marina is a must as well. Dining – well since we own a Restaurant in Colorado, our desires are high. Our favorite was O’Soleil at the Somerset “Look Smart”. If you’re going to dine at Grace Bay Cottage – Bug spray before is a must. Visit the Conch Farm to learn about Conch. Pass on Da Conch Shack, but if you must, the grouper plate or the fritters were great. Pass on the chowder. Lunch or dinner at The Plunge in The Palms was superb! A walk on the beach afterwards is a must! Get your water earlier in the day. They tend to run out in the afternoons. The 3rd round about from the airport or the round about that takes you to Crystal Sands it will be your 2nd left.
Bring your loved ones and ENJOY paradise.
Breckenridge, CO “Café Alpine”
As those who were here before us said…this is truly paradise. Crystal Sands is so beautiful. What a location! The beach here at Sapodilla Bay was lots of fun in the afternoon after coming back from our daily adventures, as was the swimming pool. And the sunsets…WOW! Our adventures out were to
Grace Bay (Smith’s Reef and in front of Coral Gardens Hotel) Best snorkeling was in front of Coral Garden…lots of turtles and fish and even a few nurse sharks.
Malcolm Beach Road – without a 4WD is not possible. We tried it…don’t do it!
Undersea Explorer...lots of fish, a turtle and stingray. Really worth it!
Shopping…our favorite store for tee shirts was Mama’s next to Comfort Suites. IGA for groceries.
Capt. Bill and the Outback Adventure. If Capt. Bill calls you…GO! He picks you up right here in Sapodilla Bay and will take you to turtle rock, the pirates cave…wherever you want.
Eating…Tiki Hut on Wed. night for chicken/ribs, Baci was great for dinner, too. Mostly though we ate right here, the view cannot be beaten! Giggles for ice cream…yummy! Liz’s bakery for fresh baked bread/raisin bread and Danish was a great find. Turn right toward Five Cays. It will be on the right.
Water Co from here….right out of first traffic circle, then 2nd right (dirt road) by Universal Rentall.
Thank you so much…We loved every minute!
We had both floors – 10 of us in total…We will be back!!!

Our criteria this year for choosing a vacation villa were simple: a pool, a breeze, and ON the beach, somewhere in the Caribbean. Not “near” the beach, or “short walk” to the beach, or even “view” of the beach. Crystal Sands definitely meets those criteria! And what a beach it is! WE spent hours snorkeling and floating and just relaxing on the beach and in the transparent waters of the bay.
I won’t go through the whole list of things we did on the islands, or the places we ate. Those who’ve commented here before us have described them all well (Thank you!) General comment: The quality of food on Provo is excellent! Enjoy!

The house is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed using the hammock and outdoor seating. We were very spoiled with the short walk to the beach. We can’t wait to tell everyone at home about this beautiful place.

It is such a beautiful place to share great times with old and new friends alike. The sunshine and sunsets may not have been plentiful this week, but the warmth and beauty shared during our explorations and meals together more than made up for it. I hope we can get together when you come to Atlanta in June. Please know that the welcome mat is always out whenever you head towards Rome!
Hoping to see you soon, Sue
From our family to yours –
Thank you so much for sharing your paradise with us! The weather has been ideal all week – beautiful blue clear skies, turquoise waters & white sand beaches!
The snorkeling was fantastic – Turtle Cove was full of marine life – sting rays, lobster, seat stars & sea turtles – all so vivid and colorful!
We especially loved spending our evenings at the Alexandra’s bar to watch the sunset and try to catch a glimpse of that “green flash” – but no luck.
The Dream Tours with John was awesome! Such great hosts – an all day event filled with snorkeling, conch diving, a cook-out on a remote island, shell hunting and topped off with one last snorkel session. We also deep sea fished and caught a few king mackerel fish & a yellow tailed tuna – we came home & fried it all up as well as diced up some tuna sushi! It was delicious!
Paradise there! Awesome! You’ll find the best shops there and next to “Hey Jose's” – Alexandra’s on Monday night, Tiki Hut on Wed nights – both for dinner…then if you want a taste of the TCI nightlife – we went to Bambooz on Thursday and then Club Celebrity on Friday – both a blast! The locals are so charming & polite – also Hemmingway’s had great food/service –
Wish we had another week/lifetime here!!! A much needed vacation that ultimately brought our family closer!!
Thank you so much again for giving us a taste of paradise! We will definitely be back!
XOXO
The house more than lived up to our expectations and the beach is beautiful – beyond words! We got a call from Captain Bill & heeded the words of previous guests and just went! It was awesome – great snorkeling & pick up and deliver right our the backdoor. The sunsets were fantastic and we saw Venus in the night sky. We also enjoyed fireworks last night while dining at Baci’s. Also – went to the Tiki Hut for Ribs on Wednesday night and were not disappointed. Next time, though, we’d skip the Tiki Temptation – unless you really want a Tiki mug souvenir. Ha! Ha! Snorkeling at Grace Bay and Turtle Cove – just be sure to NOT set up your chairs in the boat lane – couple of visits by the Shore Patrol & we’ve got it! Stay outside the red and green cones!! Visited the Conch farm and met Sally and Jerry – the trained conch. They will show you the difference between male & female conch!
But, the best part is the walk to the Beach – Right out the door and a few steps in the sand and you’re in the ocean! We’ll be back!

P.S. Loved to watch the butterflies!
I guess this is as close to Paradise as you can come on earth. Can’t say we did anything exciting. Once we got here and kicked back, this is pretty much where we stayed. This was our 4th trip to Provo, but it was the most relaxing and exactly what we have been searching for. The place is beautiful with all the flowers and plants. We love the way it is landscaped. So inviting. Looking at the beach which is so nice.
At night it is so pretty with the lights on outside and the garden displays highlighted.
Everything is so convenient. Such as the outside facilities for washing off sand. We loved sitting under the Tiki by the pool in the late afternoon. Laying in a hammock. We simply had a wonderful time and truly hated to leave. We did drive over to the Grace Bay area one afternoon. I simply could not believe the construction. It made us grateful we made the choice we made. Thanks for sharing this oasis.
Kathleen & Erwin, Mary, Jim
The collective M family - 3 generations, and from Hudson, Ohio, Chicago, Charlotte, and Seattle, had a fabulous week in your glorious setting! The pool and landscaping and perfect beach for our grandchildren made us feel as though we had our own private hotel!! We’ll have many great memories and photos!!
Bob & Judy M
This was the perfect choice for us. Location, timing, accommodations, even the neighbors were great.
It was the break from the daily grind in N.C. we needed. We did the "Sail Provo" half day; it was a good choice. We also found the gazebo point shipwreck perfectly located by the W's, (earlier in the book). It’s hard to imagine a nicer, more tasteful place. Hated to leave.
Thanks, Brian & Pam
P.S. The property manager was helpful. THANKS!
Have are a few quotes from the family:
"Our stay here was joyful" Fabiana, 9
"Snorkeling, beaches, iguanas and relaxing sunsets. It’s all great." Matteo, 13
"Thank you for sharing a piece of your heaven." Ivana, mom
"A spectacular view to wake up to every morning. You have a wonderful and peaceful spot." Paolo, dad
We all hope to return to this paradise. Thank you.
Your home is perfect! We love the location, the gardens, the beach, lizards, hummingbirds, flowers, hammocks, etc., etc., etc. We loved exploring this island and neighboring islands as well.
Favorite beaches: Cooper Jack Park & Fort George Beach
Snorkeling: Malcolm Beach and out near Fort George
Animal life: Iguanas were excellent on Little Water Key. We also saw rays, lots of cool fish and a great octopus! We also snorkeled with a nurse shark!
Restaurants: Sweet T’s, CoCo bistro, Bugaloo’s
We had so much fun playing Bingo Sunday nights at Banana Boat and the chicken and ribs at Tiki Hut were very good as well. We left you a Hawksbill Turtle shell in the front garden that we found out in Blue Hills. We walked out on the deck, looked down and there he was. Very sad, but I hope you guys enjoy him.
Our family, all twelve of us, loved this hoe and our time together. We are so fortunate. 3 generations from Rhode Island. Thank you. Tammy
Hi - Four couples came from California. This is the most beautiful beach we’ve ever been to. Loved the house and furniture. Best features are the two large patios. This is our 10th year and have had a great time for 2 weeks. We go to a different island each year. Found good snorkeling at Grace Bay and Turtle Bay. Enjoyed all the restaurants. Played golf and went to golf club for Friday Pub Night. (Dinners $9.00) enjoyed the Tiki Hut and its Wed nite special. Found Boogaloos for lunch and had conch and brought home shells. Landscaping is lovely. We love the round stepping stones and the wash area for sandy feet.
Fallbrook, CA - north of San Diego
We are so glad we made the choice and had the opportunity to stay here. It was great and very relaxing. I will miss my daily naps in the hammock. The diving was some of the best. We saw so much: turtles, eels, barracuda, sharks and tons of different colored fish. It was great! We celebrated our 30th anniversary while here, with a wonderful dinner at Simba’s. We spent most of our days diving and then back here to relax. We ended up having dinner here most nights just because it was so easy and relaxing. Everything was perfect. It was so nice to be on a beach and be able to walk out there anytime we wanted. The sunsets were gorgeous. Chuck and I both decided in looking back at all of our wonderful vacations in our 30 years, this is one of the best. Thank you for adding to our memories and I know we will be back.
Chuck & Diane, Plano, TX
P.S. Dinner at Baci’s was one of the best!
Had a wonderful, fun, relaxing week. Snorkeled at Malcolm Beach, Grace Cove, Turtle Cove and here. Sapodilla Bay is definitely one of the nicest spots on the island. Look forward to returning some time.
Four couples from North Carolina.
We had a great time at Crystal Sands Villa. The grounds are more beautiful than we ever expected.
Jennifer, Jason, Keller, Macrus, Karen and Carl
The entire M family had a BLAST!! We did it all - and what a fantastic time. Great house + Great beach + Great folks = Great vacation! We will see you again soon.
Ed & Stella and da boyz!
Wow! Our second trip here - I must say was just as fabulous as last year. The weather was on our side - we saw those spectacular sunsets yet again! Thank you ever so much for the adventure on the boat!! Now those are going to be some memories - and Dana, you were a great Captain! Your landscaping is lovely and the pool a real treat. We loved it all!!
Lisa & Larry
This cements it. We can’t imagine not making Crystal Sands part of our future. This is our second stay and it was just as gratifying as the first. We love this fabulous place.
Love, Rhonda & Dave
Our vacation was perfect & we have many tropical memories. Was a treat to walk right into the water & viewing the sting rays was wonderful. This was our first time snorkeling and we are so glad we tried it - we are addicted. Every time I think of the tropics, I will think of Crystal Sands. Thanks for the memories!
Sue, W, Mary Beth, Wind Lake WI, Kathy & Mike, Plano, TX
What a wonderful, relaxing and lovely spot you chose for the house. We stayed on the ground floor with 2 young children and it was absolutely perfect. We did a little exploring around the island, but spent most of our week here enjoying Sapodilla Beach. I can’t imagine anything more ideal for children. The villa has a wonderful layout with fabulous patios - plenty of sun or shade, whichever you like! The breezes were terrific and kept us cool and there was plenty of space to spread out & relax. The beach felt like our own private spot. We will remember this trip and compare all others to it!
Thanks again - The Ds - Virginia
What a perfect setting - - The beach was the "BEST". We loved the Tiki Hut on Wed evening. A MUST ! We traveled to many islands & stayed in several villas....did we mention this beach was the BEST! The conch festival was great. We were so glad our timing worked out for us to enjoy that. Smith’s Reef for snorkeling was great. Bella Luna was a delicious treat as was the Aqua Bar. Thanks.
Dave, Dena, Jim, Kim, Linus and Rhonda
"What a pleasant place! The pictures do not do it justice. Nicely furnished and well planned. The view was wonderful. Thank you. We had a very nice stay. "
RM & AS
"Thanks for a great stay. We will be in touch again with regards to a longer stay. No nicer outlook for the sunset. You have a piece of paradise. "
M & B, Edmonton, Canada
"We just finished a wonderful week here in this paradise! We feel so blessed to have found this beautiful place, looking out on the most fabulous Bay on the island. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Some of our highlights were: snorkeling, Sail Provo and seeing Iguanas in Little Water Cay, riding the semi-submarine, playing tennis at the Provo Golf Club and relaxing and watching the sunsets here at Sapodilla Bay! This home and beach were perfect for our family - it was a wonderful first time experience for us here at Turks & Caicos! Thank you again!"
Clay, Susan, Chip (13), Trens (11), Preston (4 3/4), Wilton, CT
"Thank you for the stay. We enjoyed our time here. It was beautiful as always. We started visiting this island 11 years ago."
Donna & David, Richmond, VA
Thanks for the stay here on the island. Thank you two for everything.
Johnny
Wow! What a villa. The pictures simply do not do your villa justice! When we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised with the pool, palapas and landscaping! You’re really on the beach!
After touring the whole island, you really have the best location. The mornings are great for coffee on the deck, by the pool, or by the beach! The sunsets are to die for! When we come back, we’re going to buy some rum duty free, and just camp out.
Diving with Mickey and Jayne from Flamingo Divers was just unbelievable! We started by seeing a nurse shark off the dock and it just got better after that! We went to West Caicos, anchored and had an unbelievable resort dive! Saw barracuda, sharks and so many fish, plus the port, it was wonderful!
The best was the wreck off Gazebo Point. We swam off your beach and found this wreck - there were so many fish! We saw two spotted eagle rays, which Mickey said were very rare! We were so excited!
The evening we had at Baci’s in Turtle Cove was fun. The food was great, drinks powerful and John Draper such a host! "Jin" didn’t serve vodka and Zobia was charming! They made our meal!
We got a great deal at Mama’s! My wife looks great in her island garb and we had a cool ice cream at Giggles!
The best was your place. We can’t wait to come back!
Ed & Jilla
Thank you for the stay. We enjoyed our time here. It was beautiful as always. We started visiting this island 11 years ago.
Donna & David & Family, Richmond, VA
What a glorious sight to awaken to each day. I enjoyed a wonderful two weeks - just wasn’t long enough. Today I leave with many wonderful memories and a dream to return to this Paradise again. Thank you for allowing me to stay at your wonderful villa.
Mary Ann, McKinney, Texas
What a place and what fabulous company you are!! Thanks for the great adventure! Let’s make a deal!!
Jerry
This place is great. Thank you for your hospitality and everything else. Hope to see you again soon.
Taylor
Thank you for the hospitality in a beautiful home. What a spectacular view here in Sapodilla Bay. I have to tell you that this is one of the most well furnished vacation homes I have been in. The trade winds are an absolute blessing. I hope you both continue to have as much happiness with your home as I have this past week celebrating my 50th birthday.
All my best, Stuart
We enjoyed your house, the view, and Sapodilla Bay very much. We also enjoyed the island. Thanks for the recommendations on divers and restaurants. The view from the house is spectacular, especially the sunsets. The furniture was very comfortable and, maybe someday, we shall return.
The Es
How fantastic again it is. We missed you being with us! The place is more awesome than ever. Thanks again.
Jerry
This place is truly fantastic! I hope to meet you again soon.
Eric
It’s difficult to believe that our week of "freedom" ...from children, work and reality is almost over. We were able to sample a little of everything the island has to offer, snorkeling, conch farm, kayaking, fishing, Turks Head Brewery Tour, Bugaloos - the best conch fritters on the island, Malcolm’s Road, Little Water Cay...and I even got to relax and read a good book! By far the view from the house is the best on the island and the beach is incredible. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.
Matt and Dorothy, Tampa, FL
Being here with our best friends, with a break from our two wonderful children, was a fabulous way to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Your home is great and the bay and beach are unforgettable. We hope that others will enjoy your home and this island as much as we have. We enjoyed our trips off the beaten path, snorkeling everywhere and catching our dinner (snapper and conch). Thanks to Hamerhead Joe who took us on a great fishing trip - check him out at Leeward Marina. Thanks also to Turks and Caicos brewery for an interesting tour of brewery and sample. The beer is good and the brewery is the cheapest place to get it. You can refill the 5 gallon water jugs next door for $2.50. Hope this is helpful to others who read these notes. Take care and enjoy. We surely did.
Laura & Tom, Tallahassee, FL, USA
I was going to start my praise with the unbelievable view, but knowing many of the island villas, I have to say yours is the best. The simple island elegance with the high quality materials, finish and furnishings are the best on the island, bar none. There is no villa, condo or home better located finished or furnished. It will be our home in Provo from now on.
I come for water sports, so diving Smith Reef and West Caicos has been a major draw. However, I never realized there was so much to see in Sapodilla Bay. Snorkeling the old steamer wreck of Gazebo Point was the best for fish watching. The 100' boats were great, too. Crystal Sands path wreck and the 2 masted fiberglass schooner (Dolphin Wreck) were very interesting. However, my favorite was stone ballast wreck. Imagine the history of a wreck so old they still used stone ballast. A turtle big as a drum head greeted me! I also have to mention I loved "Nascar" mooring made up of the engine blocks.
The island people, Pizza Pizza, John @ Baci, and Mickey and Jayne at Flamingo Divers were all great as usual.
You have a bit of paradise we plan on sharing again.
Rick W., Atlanta
We had the most relaxing week. We went diving, many nice restaurants and touring the island at the end. No place was like yours.
There is not a thing you can do to make this place more comfortable or more beautiful. Swimming pool, beach snorkeling, anything we wanted was right here and at the end of the day was the sunset....just magnificent. Thank you. We all had wonderful time.
Hope we will be back soon.
Bog & Jilla Nouri, New York
We really enjoyed staying here at the Villa - We have been over the whole island and you have the best location by far! The sunsets are remarkable! You have made the villa a home away from home -
We used "Silver Deep" for 2 fishing adventures and have enjoyed our "catch" for several dinners here - We couldn’t have asked for better weather either! Great to meet you both and hopefully we will come again - Best, Shelly and Bruce, Indianapolis, IN
As with the others, we think you have a fantastic place here - location, design, furnishings, etc. are fantastic, and, having driven all over the island, we agree yours is the best! We really appreciate your willingness to rent the villa as a single rental. Otherwise, we would have chosen another place and wouldn’t have been as happy. We spent most of our time here and exploring other beaches. We loved Long Bay Beach in particular. We also used Silver Deep for a couple of short trips (glow worms & rock iguanas) Our favorite restaurant was Aqua/the Terrace - laid back atmosphere, pretty location, and fantastic food - try the coffee - rubbed ahi tuna and the coconut crusted mahi - yum!
For quick snacks and takeout, Top of the Cove (next to Napa on Leeward) and Tasty Temptations (on the way to the airport) both had good stuff (especially the cookies at Top of the Cove)
Sharon & Doug, Newton (Boston), MA
What a beautiful, enchanting, relaxing place to be! I cannot imagine how we were so lucky to find Crystal Sands! What a perfect place to bring a 2 year old - we have officially renamed it "Gus’s" Beach House". We’ve had a week of sunny, breezy days, beautiful sunsets and total relaxation. We’ve settled into a terrific pattern with our days and nights that make the idea of returning home sound terrible!
Thank you for sharing your home with us and for your wonderful service that made this trip so easy and enjoyable. We’ve eaten at several local restaurants, but think we like "Smokey’s" on the Beach" best. Conch, stew, baked chicken and fried plantains - heaven!
We hope to return again for many years to come! Sorry to be leaving!
Frances, Zach and Gus (age 2) , Springfield, MA
Spent two great weeks here - enjoyed the house, gardens, beach and pool. The view from the upper deck is wonderful. We liked the stepping stones - easy to walk from beach to house - outside washing off areas great - Played golf and liked the course - liked Coral Gardens for snorkeling - liked to eat at Bugaloo’s for conch - The beaches on island are great, the water so blue.
Frank and Sis, Sacramento, California
We have had an amazing time. This villa was absolutely perfect! The beaches, pool, snorkeling, pastry/bread, gardens, everything just fabulous. We also enjoyed Sail Provo for the day, Deep fishing and Gwendolyn, Big Blue sharking. But really the best snorkeling here and at Coral Gardens!! We ate out some at Tiki Hut (Wed chix & ribs), Giggles Ice Cream (several times!) Magnolia (which was fabulous) and Bacci which was good food, not good service. We also ate in a lot, which you need a cookie sheet, please! We hiked up to the pirates point, had fresh bread and pastries. Thank you very much for sharing your home - We loved it.
David, Kelly, Allie, Reid, David and Shirley, Raleigh, NC
We loved this house and perfect beach! Great snorkeling at 1) Smith’s Reef (lobsters!) And 2) Malcolm Road Beach - bumpy road, but worth it! 3)White House Reef - near Coral Gardens Hotel - Grace Bay - lots of fish and many turtles! Bring food (pieces of apple?) And the fish are conditioned to come and take your food! We loved Bugaloos (on Blue Hill Road) and Shark Bite and Tiki Hut. HOT island bread (baked daily) at Liz’s bakery at Five Cays.
Collingswood, NJ
The four of us had a wonderful week at your home by the beach. It was a perfect setting for our wedding and we could not have picked a better place! Our experiences have only been wonderful memories, lying in the hammock looking at the ocean and viewing the beautiful sunsets. You home was the epitome for comfort and relaxation. Brian and I will be on the island for another week for our honeymoon. But, all four of us have already started talking about a return trip and hopefully soon! Brian & Clara/Ray & Jeanette
P.S. Thank you kindly for your well wishes and we will be sending you the video and photos!
P.P.S. We had a great time snorkeling around the bay and especially enjoyed Smith’s Reef. We say 2 Manta Rays!
We had a great time! Our daughter - the "Research" Queen found you online and after a few emails and phone conversations we choose THE BEST PLACE TO STAY! without a doubt! You truly do have a slice of Paradise here! Smith’s Reef was the "Best" snorkel area for us - saw giant crawfish (lobster), octopus and beautiful fish.
Our absolute favorite place to hang out was Bugaloos - their Rum Punch was the Best! Conch menu is to die for - yum - to all choices - fritters, salad and cracked conch was delicious - Tiki Hut is delicious Wed eve choice. Edie & Naim Pocase, Pensacola, FL
We certainly couldn’t have picked a better
place to stay on the island. The house is so beautifully designed
and the view is simply incredible! We had a really good time and
especially enjoyed Bugaloos over on Blue Hills beach. Also had a
terrific meal at the Wed nite special at the Tiki Hut. More food
than one can eat at a sitting. Had a great time on the combo conch
tour with Silver Deep out of Leeward but the people weren’t very
friendly or informative. Would love to come back sometime maybe
earlier in the year when the weather may be a bit sunnier. Overall
had a wonderful time and great memories.
Deirdre & Matt, Boston, MA
This villa was like "home away from home". The beds were the most comfortable of any we have slept on during our vacations. The view was great and we loved the huge veranda.
We ate at Aqua Bar and Terrace at Turtle Cove and would highly recommend it. Try the mango daiquiris. They are to die for. Hemingways was another restaurant we tried for lunch.
We took the semi-submarine out of Turtle Cove and thought it was well worth the money. The narrator ( & owner) was very informative and we learned a lot of interesting facts about the under water world.
All in all our week here was very relaxing and far, far away from the hustle and bustle of the "real world".
Robin, Charlotte, NC, Jan, Atlanta, GA, Inez, Easley, SC
What a beautiful place you have here in the Turks. The beaches are gorgeous and the snorkeling was spectacular. I couldn’t have spent my 45th birthday in a better place.
P.S. Your suggestions on Magnolia was perfect. The food and view were awesome!!!
Neil & Sharon, Chapel Hill, NC
Love it! Good company - good view - good food. Eating in was the best - relax on the beach all day and grill out!! Try jumping off the rocks at Malcolm Point and snorkeling in front of Coral Gardens - Thanks so much for sharing your place with us.
Jan Johnny, Gboro, NC
Thank you for the awesome experience of your home for a week. Wish it could have been longer. But work calls, etc. Never really had the time to do the nite scene. Too content just to relax and get away from everyday business. If you are looking for peace, quiet and serenity, this is it!!!! Scott, thanks. You are an awesome host and this place is the ultimate in laid back island life.
Kenn & Aimee, Chicago, IL "The Burbs"
Thanks
We loved it!!!!!
What a fantastic 2 weeks -
We feel like we got to really know the island instead of holing up at a resort. Wonderfully friendly people (except hostess at Tiki Hut)
Good Food
1. Bugaloos - everything conch!
2. Pizza Pizza (obvious)
3. Lamonts (little pink building) ($5.00 CHEAP & GOOD!) Ribs - ½ lb & fries! Fried chicken - 4 pieces with fries
4. Shark Bite
Cooked out here most nights as we know we had good service and ambiance!
This is the cleanest and best beach on the island - snorkeling off gazebo point and Coral Gardens (best) but didn’t get to Smith’s Reef. Our son Logan made lots of friends.
My husband and I love the veranda and played endless hours of dominoes and Backgammon watching the beautiful sunsets and enjoying the view.
The conch farm is worth a trip and you’ve got to meet Captain Bill - who’s always docked out in front of the villa (Fun snorkeling cruise and visiting Pirates Cave) He does Outback Adventures on Sapodilla Bay. IGA stocks up on Tues and has fresh deli meats. Souvenirs at Duty Free on Leeward and Grace Bay (Good deal on baubles for you ladies!)
Thank you to Scott and Dana for allowing us the privilege of staying in a wonderfully appointed and relaxing villa. We are so glad we chose Crystal Sands and are taking many fond memories (and some great video to boot!) . The pool is awesome, too.
Thank you again!
We’re so relaxed...
Ryan, Michelle & Logan (& Megan, Rochester, NY)

Jack & Sharon, Arcadia, IN
(Take frozen peas to feed fish at Coral Gardens - you’ll be swarmed!)
What a wonderful week we’ve had! Crystal Sands was everything we expected it to be - comfortable, roomy, beautiful view, relaxing beach. Rich had great diving with Caicos Adventures and our son completed the "Discover Scuba" successfully. For me, the beach and balcony provided ideal places to read and just relax. We saw stingrays at the beach on several occasions. The conch farm was an interesting place to visit. Wish we could stay longer!
Cheryl, Rich & Joseph, Columbia, MD
Thank you so much for sharing your perfect home with us. It is truly a one of a kind, dreams come true place. You have thought of everything and made it so special! You two have put your heart in it and it shows. I would not change a thing about it! The beach, the pool, the balcony - all are out of this world! Thank you for a perfect honeymoon spot!
Sherri & Kurt, Denver, CO
We had a wonderful honeymoon in your gorgeous villa! We loved the breeze and the sound of the water as we went to sleep.
We really enjoyed Sail Provo, Middle Caicos and our private beach excursion!
We loved your place so much that we didn’t want to leave. The hammock on the porch is perfect and we enjoyed grilling out also.
It’s nice to be away from all the resorts and your villa was a great getaway. Thanks again for everything. We enjoyed our time so much. Did we mention we don’t want to leave?
Jen & Brad, Burbs of Chicago, IL
This has been the best vacation experience for us! My husband and I had the upper level to ourselves (first real vacation away from 2 sons, 2 cats and a dog!) And had a blast with our sister/brother-in-law and another couple who stayed downstairs! By far, the best view is from the upper level!
We did a lot of little road trips this week and we found the nicest beach/water is right here - at Sapodilla Bay - just gorgeous!
Great weather and great food at the Aqua Bar, Tiki Hut, Hey Jose’s and also picked up great chicken/ribs (cheap) at Lamonts.
First time for snorkeling and parasailing and just chillin’!
Beautiful villa - we hope to come back someday!
The McCurdy’s of PA
We had such a great time! The kids loved the ocean and all the beach toys. The scuba diving was terrific and Flamingo Divers (Mickey & Jayne) were just the best! You have a great vacation home and we look forward to a return trip!
Love, Jodie, Dave, Josh & Adam, Denver, CO
P.S. Adam had a great 8th birthday on the island!
When Captain Bill calls, just go ahead and book the trip. He will take you snorkeling, exploring and then fix you lunch. All of this while you are drinking his fabulous rum punches. We only got to see one fabulous sunset, but hte tide going out was spectacular in itself and made up for the overcast evenings. We hate to go home to the cold and snow.
Randy & Nancy, Springfield, IL
Sadly home to snow for us & rain for our friends - Wonderful relaxing time - the peace and quiet is great! We looked every night for that "green flash" at sunset - no luck yet - guess we’ll have to return. Beautiful butterflies! Tiki Hut barbecue, Magnolias Café were great - Caicos Café good too - We look forward to returning to your lovely place.
Like everyone, we all thought this was an amazing place. The accommodations are just like home - only better! Sapodilla Bay is the most relaxing, inviting and fun location on Provo. Our kids loved the tide coming & going. It was a new playground every day. We totally enjoyed our late afternoon naps in the hammocks on the porch and the 3 cabana boys gave a little push to those nappers. Our boys also loved the pool - a little too much for us grownups. The grounds are beautiful and attractive to lots of butterflies. Nicholas enjoyed catching them in the net - and letting them go, of course! Lots of other children will enjoy that pastime I am sure. The mornings were one of our favorite times here because our coffee tasted so good down on the beach under the shade of the palm trees. We did lots of things while here on Provo but our absolute favorite spot was home at the Crystal Sands. Thank you for our stay and for thinking of wonderful little things that make a vacation a VACATION!
Sincerely, Dan & Janna, Jack 8, Nick 5 Chris 2, Chesterton, IN, Maureen, Lake Zurich, IL, Tom, IN
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful villa with us. We all had such a relaxing vacation! The bay and beach is by far the best on Provo. We loved playing frisbee in the water every morning and afternoon. Hopefully, we’ll visit again soon!
Larry and Cathy R., Zionsville, IN
Thank you so much for the fantastic holiday. We went from snow bunnies to beach bunnies overnight. Your villa is beautiful and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. Since we were here for 2 weeks, we did get a chance to do a few fun things. We went on 2 half-day fishing trips through "D.B.Tours." We went reef fishing the first time and bonefishing the next, and had excellent times on each trip. Darrin was born and raised here and he used to work for one of the bigger sport fishing companies before deciding to try it on his own. We had found his name on the internet before we arrived which is a good thing as I am not sure we would have found him once we were here. I recommend him to anyone who is interested in catching some fish and seeing some sights. Another fun thing we did was ride on the "Undersea Explorer," which is a semi-submarine that takes you out to view the fish along the reef. It is awesome if you are not a scuba diver or a great snorkeler. We saw all kinds of fish, a 4 foot nurse shark, a stingray and even saw a turtle. It was well worth the money in our opinion. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful villa. I am hopeful that we will visit again.
Lori, Braden, Prince George, B.C., Canada
What a wonderful place you have. You are very blessed! I cam here with two couples. Shannon & Jack - married a year ago at Las Vegas & their best friends, Dawn & Steve. We are from Iowa, and Dawn & Steve from Texas. I am actually the single mother of a 7 yr. Old son who works full time and I have spent the last 3 years caring for my sick grandparents. My grandmother passed away Oct. 04 and my grandfather March 06, so they are together again and in a much better place. Needless to say, this was a much needed retreat for me. It has been amazing to wake up every morning to the sound of the beach and the view out the back door. Some of my favorite things to do while I was here was parasailing though Capt. Marvins. We also rented jet skis from Sun & Fun. which was a blast. For anyone who enjoys night life, it seems like Bambooz is the place to be on Thursday nights. There was karaoke, dancing & a great mix of tourists as well as locals. It was a lot of fun. Snorkeling here was great. The ship wrecks were really neat. The coral & fish were amazing at Coral Gardens. I actually plan to get certified for scuba diving once I get home. My friends are all divers and truly enjoyed the diving they did with Mickey & Jayne at Flamingo Divers. I hope to make it back here within the next year or two. I will definitely recommend your place to anyone I know looking to take a vacation. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us for the week. Sadly enough I have to be up in 3 hrs. for an 8am flight. What a refreshing change of scenery. Beautiful & Relaxing. Thanks again for an amazing week. Crystal
What a fantastic time we had! We’ve been here for 2 fabulous weeks - one week upstairs, one week down. The view upstairs was beautiful, but I think we liked the beach access downstairs even more. This is a beautiful slice of the world. We all loved Sapodilla Bay Beach - it was a perfect playground. Evan (age 3 3/4) and Garrett (17 mos) both loved splashing, running & building sandcastles. The kids also really loved the pool Evan learned to swim - no water wings required. Amazing! Both kids were complete water babies. As for the adults, we made good use of the hammocks. The grounds here are beautiful - we loved watching the butterflies. In terms of activities, we can highly recommend Big Blue for snorkeling. They operate our of Leeward Marina. Not an activity for small kids, but for people who love to snorkel, it was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, helpful personnel. For an activity with the (small) kids, we took a 3 hour tour with J&B out of Leeward. They were very good with the kids - even ensured PFD’s (life jackets) were worn by the little guys. We also took in the Glo worms with Outback Adventures here in the bay. It was a great show, and you can’t beat the convenience of being picked up right at our own beach! In terms of dining, we took Scott & Dana’s advice and had an (adult) dinner at Magnolia. It was a very romantic setting, and the meal was lovely. With the kids, we ate at many of Provo’s spots. Highlights were Hemmingway’s (great service, good food) and the Café at the Salt Mills (lovely for lunch). The service was good at Hey Jose’s, but it was smoky the night we were there. Pizza Pizza was excellent take out, but PHONE AHEAD! With any luck, we will be back to enjoy Crystal Sands again.
Regards

What a great 10 days. Wonderful house, wonderful weather, wonderful beach, wonderful family!! Best snorkeling at Coral Gardens. Turtles, sting rays, many fish and JoJo one day. Loved eating in for lunch, then heading back out to the beach.
Hope to come back again soon. Loved the house, here and beach. Couldn’t ask for anything more, expect maybe 10 more days.
Jon, Jen, Blake (7) & Mia (5)
This is so paradise!! We have had a great time here. The weather has been hot and sunny with a cool breeze! The water is so blue and refreshing. We are so glad that we found this villa on the net. Great find. The sunsets are breathtaking and we have taken many photos to prove it. Sapodilla Bay is great for our kids to swim and the snorkeling at the point is really cool. We saw a lobster and many colorful fish. We also saw many rays swimming close to the shore... Your villa is very beautiful and it has everything that you’ll need. Great groceries at IGA. We went on a snorkeling trip with Ocean Outback and it was OK but a bit rushed. If you go, take lots of sunscreen. Snorkeling at Coral Gardens was great, saw turtles, rays and many fish. Watch out for the thorns as you walk to the beach. Wear your flipflops!! Tiki Hut was great on Wed, a great value. Coco Bistro’s - good food but very pricey for what you get. Sharkbite is OK, kids liked to watch for turtles and sharks, but they only saw a turtle! This is a great place to just hang out and relax, a quiet beach!! Scott & Dana, thanks for Crystal Sands Villa!!
Sail Provo was nice to go out and sail, but the snorkeling was a bit to choppy and we could not stay out in the water too long. They served a good deli lunch with great pasta salad. Interesting Capt. Ryan and his mate!! We got to see JoJo the dolphin, the kids were so excited! Baci’s restaurant was great, good food and a nice atmosphere!! Danny Buoys - it was good food, but the pub part of the restaurant was quite smoky! Yuck... The kids had a blast looking for crabs and tiny fish when the tide goes out. They spent hours out there searching! We had a wonderful holiday. It was a great relaxing 2 weeks!!

Simply the best vacation since our honeymoon, without a doubt. Restaurants - Smokies, Elsa’s Conch Shake, Tiki Hut. 3 dive sites out front, check them out.

We understand now why you loved this island! Our whole family made lifetime memories here. The sunsets and moonsets have been spectacular. We loved Smokey’s for seafood on the beach. Tiki Hut was fun on Wednesday night. But, dinner on the deck of Crystal Sands was by far our favorite dining spot. The babies really loved the beach and got their first "taste" of the ocean. We feel that we have two more future divers! Thanks so much for opening up your home. Everything is here for a complete vacation. It is hard to believe that the week has passed so quickly. We look forward to coming again soon!
Many thanks!

We had a wonderful time! It was so nice being right on the beach in such a great house! We spent most our time on the beach except for the one day a HUGE rainstorm came in that lasted most of the day. The food on this island is amazing! We never had a bad meal or bad service! Tiki Hut was one of our favorites considering we went there 3 times! They have a great view and an awesome atmosphere.
Aqua Terrace was also a great eating spot. Baci was simply amazing! It is an Italian restaurant that is a little more expensive, but definitely worth it and they couldn’t have friendlier staff! Magnolia, overlooking Turtle Cove, is definitely worth going to even if it is just for drinks or dessert! They have one of the best views on the island! Sharkbite was a very casual inexpensive meal that was sooo good! (The margaritas are fabulous!) Snorkeling, however, wasn’t so great for us! We went all around this bay and to the shipwrecks and did not see much at all.
A great place to buy souvenir t-shirts is at a dive shop across from Ports of Call at Grace Bay. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and met some very nice and interesting people while here. The house was wonderful! Thanks for everything!

WOW...What a place you have here! We enjoyed the past 7 days here on the island but we mostly preferred to stay right here. The house, pool, and the beach were the best on the island. One always hears of Grace Bay being one of the best beaches in the world, but I think here, at Sapodilla Bay, is the best. When we did get away from Crystal Sands, we went to Tiki Hut, Bay Bistro, The Saltmills Café, Island Scoops, and Hey Jose’s.
We liked the upbeat atmosphere at Hey Jose’s. The view from Bay Bistro was incredible...sun setting while we ate. We hope to return again so we can celebrate another anniversary, birthday, and the much needed time away from the kids. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
Matt and Janet, (Portland, Maine)
Celebrated our 10th Anniversary and Janet’s 36th birthday! Wow...What a great time! Now, back to work and the kids. (William 4 yrs and Lillian 16 mos).
We have had a lovely week here in the sun. We are two families with 4 children, 4 and under, and the split apartments worked perfectly for us. The beach was absolutely fabulous. We had many a good evening, once the children were tucked up in bed, up here on the balcony, eating, drinking and enjoying time with our friends. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and happy.

We have been going everywhere in the Caribbean, including Provo, twice a year for the past 23 years and nothing compares to Crystal Sands. I don't know where to begin! The house, gorgeous. The beach, gorgeous. The grounds, gorgeous. The sunsets, gorgeous. Oh yeah, did I mention that everything was gorgeous!! We would love to come back next year, actually, next week!

What a beautiful place you have and thanks for sharing it with us! We went from one end of this island to the other and have to agree that you have the most fantastic location! We are out every ,night - Sharkbite’s, Baci, Calico Jacks, Hey Jose’s, etc. and enjoyed most places. Tiki Hut had great atmosphere and friendly service, but went to Sharkbite’s twice because of great food! Took ½ day snorkeling, iguana and beach tour with J&B tours - friendly people, had a great tiem and WOW at all the colorful fish we saw! Awesome! Again, thanks for your hospitality and we hope to visit again and rent the entire place with extended family!

P.S. Even snorkeled off Sapodilla Bay and saw ship wreck!
Just a sweet note to let you and future guests know how much we enjoyed our stay here at your Villa. We have been to lots of islands & villas, but must admit that your web site did not mislead...it is everything we could have hoped for. This has been a wonderful time to enjoy our children & grandkids in the 10 days here...always look forward to returning again...this is our description of R & R.

Cruzan Sands Villa is the most wonderful place we have stayed in our travels throughout the Caribbean. On an island where everything is historic, it is so nice to stay in a brand new, well maintained villa. It is remarkable that the owners can offer this villa for so little! It is the best value we have experienced. It is truly luxurious. It is truly right on the beach. It is truly a vacation paradise. The rooms are spacious. The beds are so comfortable. The living room and outside living room are so well designed that every moment we spent at Cruzan Sands was effortless. The kitchen was nicer than ours at home! Because it is an island home, we understand that corrosion is a big issue. When the grill did not light up right away, the property managers came by in what seemed like an instant! We felt we were well cared for here. The beauty of this location cannot be understated. Each morning when we awoke to the perfect sunrise, we were refreshed and renewed. The quiet, winding road that leads to the villa is majestic. The location on the island is central and we had no problems getting anywhere. Oh, I wish I were there now! We have already planned our return visit.
We actually arrived in St. Croix on Saturday (scheduled to stay in another villa), 12/28 and discovered we were staying in a dump! After 2 nights we were desperate to find another place. We found Cruzan Sands Villa on the web. I called Dana immediately and she had us in paradise within 3 hours. It was New Years Eve! There were 5 of us and the house was perfect. It is brand new and includes all the amenties you could want. The ocean breeze comes right through the the patio doors. The 3 bedrooms are like master suites with each having a private bath. The home is warmly decorated and all the furniture in the living area is very comfy. They even have rocker recliners which are very inviting for your afternoon nap after a long day at the beach. There is a big flat screen tv and dvd payer. They have ac and ceiling fans in all the rooms. Oh, the beach, it is right outside. It is beautiful and serene, like having your own private beach. The sand is soft and and great for walking in the morning and evening. There are beach chairs and towels, a cooler and beach toys. Outside on the patio, there is a fresh water pool, large dining table, another smaller table and lounge chairs too. There is also a full size gas grill which we used to grill steaks and shrimp. There is plenty of room for everyone to relax and spread out. The drive to this lovely home is quiet, secluded and gated. The home manager, Adele and her husband are very attentive to your every need. They were always available and and responded quickly to any question or request. You will be glad they are close, since we had an emergency room run while there. Did I say that it is perfectly located to everything on the island? Christianstead is to the west and Cane Bay is to the east. I highly recommend that you explore this island from end to end and be sure to go to Buck Island. Terero is the trip to book to go to Buck Island. It is a the best on the island. The island food is superb and a Pueblo grocery store is near by. We had Julianna prepare us a feast one night. We had 8lb stuffed lobsters with the fixings and local treats. Her pasta with vodka sauce was divine. She even included some wonderful rum drinks. This is a definite must. Plan it early in your stay so you can be sure to eat it all up. When we go back to St. Croix there will be no doubt in our minds where we will stay. It was true paradise.
We just returned from our first trip to St. Croix and had the most wonderful stay at Cruzan Sands. The villa is in a great location right on a beach (with a pool). The beach is public but felt private and was very quiet, you could snorkel right out the back door. 1 afternoon there was a rainbow coming up from the oocean right in our backyard- It was amazing! All 3 bedrooms were Master size, well equipped kitchen and decorated beautifully for the Island!! I would recommend staying here and if we go back to St. Croix we would definitely stay here again...
We had a GREAT time and you have a lovely house in a PERFECT location. We hooked up with Anchor Dive Center for some dives within a 5 minute boat ride! We have a friend who was an executive chef at a couple of restaurants in St. Croix (who now lives in Tampa), so he made recommendations on where to eat. The food in St. Croix is fantastic! We were really pleased that every meal was delicious. We were definitely not disappointed! Julianna delivered our meal the first day. The food was very good and she is a very pleasant and helpful woman, but it was way too much food! We LOVED the villa, the decorations and location and would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your wonderful villa!
We rented the beach house as well as the guest home for my sister's wedding on 12/12/12. Our decision to come to St. Croix was based on two criteria: First we wanted to stay within the U.S., so we didn't have to mess with passports for extended family. Secondly, we wanted a home that was right on the beach since we had four children with us. That is how we ended up at Cruzan Sands! The photos accurately portray the home and the amenities.
The location was great, and not far from amenities. We ended up touring the whole island, and I am not sure that I would've stayed anywhere else! The winds off of the beach were sufficient to keep you cool while hanging out on the deck. We were not aware of the "Christmas Winds" that begin at the first of December, but thankful they were there when we were outdoors. The pool was a big hit for the kids. It's not big, but just the right size for small ones.
They spent more time in the pool than they did on the beach, which surprised us all! The beach has great shells and reef "paraphernalia" if you enjoy seeing what washes up on the shore daily. We found tons of Conch Shells, and even made/decorated our own Conch Shell Christmas Tree! My father & husband went scuba diving with Salt River Marina and literally went right out in front of our beach house. They said it was a good reef with lots of fish and marine life.
I am more of a "stay where I can touch" ocean person, so I never ventured out to the reef. I think if the winds were more calm (during different time of year), you could easily swim/ walk to the reef from the beach. We went to Christiansted for the Crab Races on Monday Night. It was fun, however there are so many hermit crabs by the home, we ended up having our own crab races, much more fun! The beach area by the home is very scenic, we took many family photos in front of house + just down the beach. To sum it up, I think this home offers something for everyone! You won't be disappointed with your choice!
We LOVED staying at this wonderful villa during our 1 week stay in St. Croix! The villa is new, clean, spacious, modern, comfortable, and couldn't have been in a more perfect location! The Anchor Dive center and marina is right down the street (can walk there!) There are several awesome dive sites within a 5-minute boat ride from the marina! The backyard of the villa is the beach, where you can hunt for shells, go for a walk, snorkel and fish. The location is close enough to Christiansted and to the North Shore to easily drive to great restaurants, beachfront bars/grills and shopping. We were so comfortable at the villa -- we didn't want to leave! The decor is very tropical and pleasant, with all the amenities you need! As soon as we arrived at the villa, we knew we made a great decision -- what a fantastic place to relax and unwind in a tropical paradise! We definitely recommend this vacation property!
We are so grateful to share your gorgeous island home ON THE BEACH! The island breeze, the kind and ever-so-generous locals (esp. at the Chicken Shack), the beauty of your NEW home and its tropical decor and the island made for a one of a kind experience. The property is very well kept and beautiful with exceptional views of the ocean and Salt River Bay. Everyone with Cruzan Sands was very attentive to our introduction to the home and made themselves accessible to questions we had. Thanks for the valuable recommendations ranging from activities, dining, shopping, along with invitations to hang out at local spots nearby. It gave us an opportunity to meet and spend time with some of the residents in St. Croix and helped make our experience on the island the best. Access to the beach couldn't be any better at the Villa making it so convenient to enjoy a walk on the beach whenever we wanted. We felt the location was perfect to get to Chistiansted in 15 minutes for sailing, shopping, and entertainment. We loved the crab races at Fort Christian Brew Pub, all natural sherbet and gelato at Jaccar's, and sailing on the Jolly Roger to Buck island for the best snorkeling adventure we have ever had. Jump Up was a special treat for us in Christiansted and it was a street party we will never forget with steel drum bands, Mocko Jumbies, great local cuisine, and wonderful island drinks . We particularly loved the beach action and snorkeling at Cane Bay Beach, about 10 minutes away, and Rainbow and Sand Castle Beach in Frederiksted (20 minutes). The drive to these spots were spectacular in views of the ocean, old sugar mills, and rain forrest on the way to Frederiksted. At Cane Bay Beach we enjoyed a fun evening at the Off The Wall beach bar playing beach bingo with many of the local residents. The food and drinks there were great. We really enjoyed the snorkeling along Sand Castle Beach, just south of Frederiksted. It has calm waters and continuous rock outcroppings that are home to a wide variety of ocean species and corals. Close by, the Pirates Tavern at the marina has really great Mexican food and drinks as well as live music. An unforgettable highlight of our trip was the bioluminescence kayaking tour at night. Your home and island are so relaxing and beautiful that we would recommend it to anyone and only look forward to when we might return.
Cruzan Sands Villa was everything we expected in an island get-away, and more! The home was spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. The owners thought of everything when planning this vacation home. The beach is just a few steps away, and we enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, strolling, beach-combing, and even a game of football on the sand! The pool deck was perfect for lounging, eating, reading and enjoying the ocean view - plenty of sun and shade. Our kids loved the pool, and the landscaping is gorgeous! We could not have been more pleased with the home! We are already looking forward to a return trip to St. Croix and Cruzan Sands!
Cruzan Sands Villa far exceeded our expectation! The villa is immaculate! It is large and breezy, very modern, extremely comfortable and RIGHT on the beach! My family spent the majority of time outside on the deck. It is fabulous. There is sun and there is shade. Perfect! We really enjoyed being able to see the Caribbean Sea from every angle and to walk right onto the beach! The beach itself is sandy, with enough shells to thrill the beachcombers in our group. The water is crystal clear making the snorkeling fun for all! The surrounding area is very quiet, away from roads and traffic. The Owners were in the Guest House while we were there. They are friendly and helpful, but we had complete privacy. We have already scheduled a return trip. Having been to St Croix many times over the last 8 years, we would have to say this villa is far and away the best we have selected!
I absolutely want to be here as often as I can!
- Jennifer
We love the tropical look and it is even better to know that everything is really comfortable!
- Steve
You have really put together a special vacation spot for us! Thank you!
- Mary Ann
We are so proud to have been a part of building this home. It is one of the nicest on the island!
- the construciton crew!
Coconut Beach Villas are truly spectacular! Owners, Dana and Scott, have taken great care of the homes and it shows! They are also fun to talk with, friendly and helpful. As are the native islanders and those who come to work on the island. Villas are very clean, well designed and top notch amenities. My family stayed in one of the villas, my brother and his family in the other. Total of 4 adults and 8 kids ages 7-17. Very spacious. The home is in a private residential area. Only 6 homes on our stretch of beach! Easy to get to Grace Bay but so nice to come back to the villas on the quiet and breezy side of the island! The photos are exactly as you will find it-only better because you are standing on the patio soaking in the sun and the azure waters! Breath taking each morning to wake to sailboats and catamarans anchored in the bay. Did not have to run ac in our bedroom until last 2 nights. Beautiful trade winds through out day/night. Sapodilla Bay is quiet, serene and beautiful. Water is clear and very calm. We rented a kayak and paddle board for the week. Perfect! Saw sea turtles right off beach! Stocked up on groceries for the week-very pricy, double what we pay in states. Quickly got over that by day 2! Beer very expensive, wine is comparable to back home. Eating in was easy with grill and outdoor tables. Grilled grouper from Provo Fisheries nearby villas. Sunsets amazing! Places we ate and recommend: Boogaloos, Caicos Cafe, Horse Eyed Jacks, Las Brisas right at end of street, and anocoana. Most meals spent at villas so you can maximize beach time! Or pool for few kids! Activities: scuba with Dive Provo, horseback riding on beach with Provo Ponies, Snorkel and Conch Tour with Caicos Dream Tours. This was an amazing vacation with family and cousins! Coconut Beach Villas are the perfect place to call home for your TCI vacation. We loved it and want to go back! Thank you Dana and Scott and your entire crew!
We spent a week at coconut beach villa. Everything about the villa and sapodilla bay was incredible. The villa was spotless and everything we needed was there including crystal clear water in our front yard !! I would highly recomend anyone to stay as it is hard to find a place that ticks all the boxes from the minute you arrive to minute you sadly leave ...
It is perfect
What a great place , the Villa is new, clean , quite , very well furnished and mantained , just few steps from one of the best beaches I have ever seen , I can assure the pictures in the web site describes very well the place and it is real ! Can't wait to go back next year , and every year after . Thanks Scott and Dana for the great hosting
Our family of 10 (2 grandparents, 2 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, and 4 grandchildren ages 8, 6, 4, and almost 2) returned to Coconut Beach Villa again this February, after we had such a great time last year. CBV continues to be well-maintained, beautifully landscaped, and right on the best children's beach ever! We snorkeled, bought lobsters from the local fishermen, relaxed at the pool and on the beach, did most of our eating at the villa where it is so easy to prepare great meals. A few little side trips to the conch farm and Coral Gardens kept everyone occupied. The grandchildren are already talking about "next year" (when we will return!) This year we left for the airport 3 hours early (instead of two) and had a much easier time checking in and going through security. What a treasure CBV is!
We can't begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Coconut Beach Villa; the home was exactly that- our home away from home. The houses were the perfect accommodation for our family group, the beach and sea were safe and our four year olds made themselves instant "water babies". We found area restaurants reasonably priced with a nice selection on local favorites. The homes were immaculate, well appointed and very well maintained. We truly found our ideal paradise in Sapodilla Bay.
An unforgettable stay in a wonderful place in a delightful home. We thank you for the hospitality.
We spent a wonderful week at Dana and Scott's, Coconut Beach Villa on Sapodilla Bay. The villa was beautifully maintained, clean and perfect as shows on the web site The clear, calm water and sandy beach just steps from our villa was speechless . We would highly recommend this villa and look forward to visiting again.
The weather, the beach and Coconut Beach Villa were all fantastic! What really made the week special was spending time with friends! "There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate!" If you get to spend time with friends in the Turks at a beautiful villa overlooking the ocean, it is truly very special!
Great time here...most stunning sunsets ever! Would love to bring our 4 children next time. A few favorites: "Da Conch Shack", the Infinity Bar at the Grace Bay Club and, believe it or not, Graceway Market for some fried chicken and gourmet cheese for a great beach day lunch. Cheers to the owners, Dana & Scott, for providing such a beautiful backdrop to celebrate life and love
We spent a wonderful week at Dana and Scott's, Coconut Beach Villa on Sapodilla Bay. The villas were beautifully maintained, clean and perfect for our family of eight adults and five children. The clear, calm water and sandy beach just steps from our villa was perfect for adults and children alike. We would highly recommend this villa and look forward to visiting again.
I stayed at Coconut Beach Villa because one of my weeks was already taken at the sister villa. Well, I absolutely did not go wrong! This villa is perfect, too! The villa is new and it has all the amenities which one can expect to have a perfect vacation. The best thing is its location on Sapodilla Bay Beach. Have you ever seen such beauty? You won’t know until you come visit, because the photos cannot begin to offer the feeling that comes over you when you walk in the door and when you get to enjoy this paradise on earth.
No strangers on the shore (or only a few!) No footsteps in the sand - every morning it is clear No loud music on the beach - or even next door No hawkers selling trinkets or boat trips No ladies doing hair braiding No speed boat operators inshore No surfing waves - only gentle ripples No large trees or shrubs to obsure the view No noise from the neighbours next door - or upstairs No strong winds off the sea - hardly enough to fly a kite! No parasailing or windsurfing nearby No dolphins or sharks - in fact no apparent fishing No rain to relieve the heat - for 11 out of 12 days WHAT DID WE FIND? A peaceful holiday paradise - perfect for our four grandchildren ages 6-8 and their parents aged 40-45 and ourselves - ageless. Soft clean beach sand and safe warm swimming - with glorious sunsets every evening.
Yes, the photos you see are exactly as it is at Coconut Beach Villas, only better when you are standing on the patio looking out at the azure waters! My family had one of the villas, my brother and his family the other. Perfect set up for two families with 4 kids each! Owners were very friendly and helpful in answering questions. They have taken great care from the design to the construction to the daily upkeep of the villas and it shows. Very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The nicest villa we have rented on vacation. The villas sit on a private street and there are only about 6 homes on the beach. We felt like it was our own personal beach. The beach is spectacular! Waking up and seeing the sailboats and catamarans anchored was breathtaking! The sand soft, the water warm and clear. You could walk out 100ft and the water would only come up to your knees. Perfect for kids and parents! We ate in most meals and it was great to have the grill and the dining table on the patio. You cannot beat the view, the sound and the relaxation! Provo Fisheries not far from villas sells fresh fish. Go about 3 when the boats have come in. We lucked out one night and got the last 4lbs of grouper. Sapodilla Bay is the place to be on the island! If you like quiet, quaint, peaceful and serene, then stay here. It is away from the crowds at Grace Bay, but only a 15 minute drive to shop or dine there. We loved knowing that we would head back to our peaceful home on the very picturesque bay. Fun and memorable things we did: Rented kayak and paddle board-great to have at villa whenever you wanted Mass at Divine Providence-choir uplifting! Rode horses on Long Bay with Provo Ponies - top notch group and very genuine Scuba with Dive Provo- excellent outfit and awesome underwater sights Snorkel and Conch Tour with Caicos Dream Tours - highly recommend private charter with 12 people. Lunch and snorkel and personal attention. Great time! Best part-just being at the house and lounging at beach with family! Places we dined: Boogaloos - down by the docks in a neighborhood. Great service and food, amazing view, windy. Very casual. Las Brisas - right at end of street- convenient, great food and drink Caicos Cafe in Grace Bay - outdoor dining and very good fresh cuisine Anocoana at Grace Bay resort - adult dinner last night. Beautiful sunset, wonderful meal This was a vacation of a lifetime! Loved it! Want to return! Simply spectacular island!
Look no further! This villa is on the tranquil Sapodilla Bay only a few minutes from Downtown. Beautiful shallow and warm water is perfect for gently bobbing the day away. The Grace Bay side is much more wavy and busy. Wake to gentle breezes, grab your morning coffee and step out on the beach and enjoy the calming lap of 1" waves on a deserted beach. After having breakfast over looking the bay, grab your mask and snorkel and go for a swim with the sea turtles. I swam with one for 30 minutes one day. If you like to fish, you can catch yourself lunch. I caught several fish during my stay including several bonefish. Get your fishing license at the Turtle Cove Marina first as they do patrol. You can walk to Caicos Oil/Mart which is about a 1/3 mile and they have most of what you'll need. The villa was very nice and well appointed with everything you need. The villa lights up beautiful at night and there is almost always a nice breeze and we never needed the aC to sleep. The villa was very clean when we arrived and we never saw a bug in the villa. Thank you Dana and Scott! We hope to come back with the whole family someday.
This was our first time to Provo and we wanted to do it right by renting a private villa. The photos of Coconut Beach Villa were very convincing and believe me, this home and the location is stunning and will not disappoint. We arrived at the airport ,picked up our rental car and we were at the villa in less than 10 minutes using the directions provided by the owners. The house and grounds are immaculate and the beach is soft powder white sand. The water is so clear and warm, there is no rough surf here only small ripples and we stayed in the water for hours at a time. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and more. The free wi-fi was a plus and the cable tv received all the channels from the states. We explored Provo and visited some local restaurants for lunch and dinner and enjoyed them immensely but our favorite place was right back at the villa where we could cook in the spacious kitchen or barbecue on the huge gas grill on the terrace and enjoy the sunsets from our own secluded home. The beds were very comfortable and the linens supplied were more than enough. The villa also has a large capacity washer dryer, dishwasher, etc. Grocery stores were nearby and the big IGA was a 10 minute ride out to the leeward highway and they have everything you could possibly buy. The people of the island are very friendly, polite and helpful to tourists and we ventured to every part of the island away from the tourist areas and ate in local restaurants, always felt welcome. Our hosts Dana and Scott were so very gracious and helpful, we felt like we had been coming to the villa for years. We absolutely will return and bring more family next time. We were so relaxed at the end our stay and sad to leave such a beautiful place.
How wonderful this duplex villa in Sapodilla Bay has been for us too. Thank you so much Dana and Scott for carefully creating such an excellent holiday home in this idyllic place and for sharing them with us. Like the families here in February 2012 we are grandparents plus son and family plus daughter and family, who normally live respectively in England UK, San Francisco USa and Ottawa, Canada. This pair of "private" homes each with ther own kitchen and facilities has been superb for our families from different time zones who naturally came with different eating and sleeping habits. The easy-to-share patios, pool and beach have been ideal for shy young cousins who only meet infrequently to get to know each other again. When not enjoying eating together, our favourite eating out was in Tikki Hut in Turtle Cove. It can provide large, family size tables at the edge of the fascinating Marina, with excellent adult and child menus, also enabling children to share an adult portion if desired. We found best service was to go early (arrive before 6pm) for evening dinner and then the service is very prompt so that the table can be re-used for those eating later. Our best family day trip (other than on Sapodilla and adjacent Bays) was a private Catamaran "Maximum Chill" hired with Blue Water "Captain Smooth" from Turtle Cove Marina. We had a great long sea ride, visiting the Iguana Island (Salt Cay), snorkelling by a reef just beyond the Conch Farm - plus lots of fun entering the water down the slide that this boat has at the back. Fionally ending on a small but incredible Shell Island. We watched another amazing sundown and sunset before we sailed back to Turtle Cove, entering the Marina with some difficulty in darkness! We had already collected many beautiful conch shells on Pelican Beach, at the north end of Grace Bay, and Scott very kindly agreed that the children could create shell gardens in parts of his garden to house their treasures, as we had to persuade them that we were unable to take them all home! Food in plenty came from the IGa on Leeward Highway - good choice and quality but expensive. We topped up from the local Quality Supermarket which had a limited range but cheaper.
Wow! We absolutely have loved every minute! Our little girl (5 yr old) and our little boy (23 months) have fallen in love with this place. They don't want to go home, so we are already planning our return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! See y'all again soon
We had our dream vacation staying at Coconut Beach Villa. Everyday, we marveled at how calm the water is. Our two boys, 4 1/2 years and 23 months), loved everything about being here. They loved both the pool and the beach/ocean equally and we never had to worry about large waves. The ocean was just as calm as being in a pool. This was a fantastic place to stay!
I wish we could stay longer! Well, we are leaving today after being here a week and I wish we could stay longer. Loved the villa. It was exactly what we wanted. A few helpful tips: 1. The reef/shore to the right looking out of the villa has great little fish to see. Go snorkel there. 2. Diving #1 Flamingo Divers. My husband loved them. 3. Island Vibes half day snorkel trip was great. JJ and Captain Spike were wonderful! 4. Bay Bistro great food, as well as Las Brisas for lunch and view of Chalk Sound. 5. Goldsmith Duty Free Shops at Grace Bay in the Regent Village - good prices and lots of selection. We hope to be back soon!!
A lovely spot. You will not be disappointed as the reality is as scenic as the pictures. Went with teenage children, their friends and other family and it was perfect. Pure relaxation. Villas were lovely and Dana made us feel very welcomed without being intrusive. When we tired of the pool, we walked down to the beach. Mostly ate in because we really didn't like leaving the villa or pool. Brought 2 suitcases full of dried food and then shopped at local grocery store, where prices were steep. For first time snorkelers go over to grace bay..near coral gardens. La brisas is only restaurant within walking distance..bout one eight mile. Very nice and scenic. Went to local hang out, Paradise sail in blue hills for dinner. Very charming and tasty. My daughter wanted braids and rather than doing them at a resort we went to a very local establishment in blue hills..the ocean view beauty salon and they did a great job for fraction of cost. We were all so sad to leave at weeks end.
Our family vacation started on June 12th. We are from North Carolina. We rented the North Suite for a week and enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing family vacation. The beach is just perfect for a family with young children! In week two, we rented the entire villa and enjoyed the company of my business partner. We enjoyed our time in Turks very much and wish we were staying another 2 weeks.
We really enjoyed our stay. The Beach is just fantastic, our kids could play freely and we were not worried at all to leave them there. The house is just perfect. It has it all, brand new and elegant furniture , all appliances and amenities one can think of, including DVD working with European system and tv channels showing the Euro soccer championship, a must for us! The owners were very friendly and made us really feel like at home . The sunsets are so stunning that we fell in love with the place and will return in August.
Coconut Beach Villa was the PERFECT getaway for our family. We rented the south villa. Dana met us there, gave us all the info we needed, and was responsive and helpful. We rented a car through Avis to get around the island. The Villa has everything you need. Two well-appointed bathrooms, laundry, kitchen with all the cooking tools/supplies/spices you need. Plenty of plates/glasses for beverages, wine. TV with cable, wireless internet, clocks, hairdryer, iron, etc. We did not need to use the A/C as the breezes through the place when you open windows were amazing. The views from the villa of the beach are remarkable. The pool was perfect temp, depth for us and the boys (both 5 years old). Plenty of pool floats, pool/beach chairs, and sand toys to keep everyone happy. even an umbrella for down near the beach! The grill/patio set up were fantastic. Bring some good mosquito repellent. Best beach for families. Practically private, nice for walking day/night. Water depth from shin to hip deep out 100 ft depending on tides, perfect for not worrying about kiddos. crystal clear. great sandcastle building sand! critters to discover: we found starfish, conch, crabs, a few rays, some 'cuda, needle fish - all not very interested in us, & fun to explore with the boys. even saw some turtles out in the water. snorkeling off the rocks was great & easy - not the best snorkeling in terms of fish, but so close & a good primer for the kids. I checked out Taylor Bay one afternoon, and Grace Bay on another day - not as nice as Sapodilla! No need to go anywhere else! We met folks at another villa down the beach which was posh and beautiful, but didn't get the great breezes so they were running A/C constantly ($$$) - and only had views from one upstairs bedroom. Not us! We had it ALL at Coconut Beach! The IGA towards grace bay had all we needed. We ate out 3 dinners, 3 lunches. Hole in the Wall (yummy jerk chicken), Las Brisas (lovely dinner - ask for the gazebo and go at sunset), Jimmy's Dive Bar (great burgers), Tiki Hut (yum, perfect after the Undersea Explorer semi-submersible trip), & Hemingways (great views of Grace Bay). We just enjoyed the villa. Bought mutton snapper from a guy by the road - BEST SNAPPER ever. Ate lots of Conch. Check out Conch Farm - great as something different, tour very informative. Don't kayak chalk sound if windy - do the pontoon. public beach access is next to CBV so we had some cookouts nearby on the weekend, but nothing disruptive.
This was our first time to TCI and it definitely won't be the last! The villa was perfect for our family, the weather - amazing! The beach - beautiful! The pool - perfect anytime of the day or night! Loved eating out and cooking in. We look forward to our next visit.

Gaby-Loved the house and the beach! Turks and Caicos has the best sea food! It was an awesome time! Gracious! Derek-My son Derek loved the pool, the beautiful beach and watching the sunsets every day with the family! He would love to come back! We loved the food and all the restaurants we went to!
We have been spoiled, staying at this beautiful place! As our first experience in Turks and Caicos, it realy made it all the more better! Location of Coconut Beach Villa: We have the best beach area! No rocks and white powder sand! Best Family Vacation! Thanks!
We had an amazing time staying here! It's our second time to Turks and Caicos and it lived up to our memories. The villa is beautiful and we enjoyed staying here. The beach was good, other than it lacked areas to snorkel, but other than that it was great! Caicos Dream Tours was an excursion that we went on again this time and it was even better than last time. I would highly recommend them Overall, we had a great time and we would love to return someday.
This was a beautiful experience for me and my family. We had such a great relaxing time. The beach is a beautiful sight! So fun! I would definitely recommend this to everyone! Thank you for one of our most relazing/beautiful times! Alina (age 11) This is truly a paradise.
As gorgeous as advertised. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Beautiful beach and the sunsets were amazing. Waiting to return!
We spent a relaxing winter getaway week in this beautiful villa. The days were sunny with gentle trade winds. You are steps away from the almost private beach. And the sunsets from the terrace were spectacular.

We were so relaxed at the end our stay and sad to leave such a beautiful place
The setting for this Villa right on the beach at Sapodilla Bay Turks & Caicos is incredible. The crystal clear blue waters are always in sight and are wonderful for a swim even for young kids. The villa itself is brand new and beautifully laid out as shown in the web site photos. There is a steady cool sea breeze nearly all the time and the large patio is perfect for enjoying it. There is a complete complement of facilities and the decorating provides a nice relaxing atmosphere. The place was spotless and well equipped (grill works great). The owners are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of water based activities on the island including: scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, deep sea fishing, kayaking or just catching a tan. Highly recommended.
What a beautiful family vacation for President's Day Week! We used the whole villa for 2 grandparents, 2 daughters and their husbands and 4 grandchildren. There has never been a better Caribbean beach for small children. We went snorkeling around the sunken ship, in Grace Bay and Smith Cove by the Turtle Bay Marina. How delightful that our 7 yr old grandson fell in love with snorkeling - a real highlight it was, listening to parrot fish munch on the coral! We loved the Undersea Explorer and 4 of us went Snuba in Grace Bay. With small children, we mostly ate at the villa, but we had a lovely dinner and lunch at Las Brisas across the road, and several takeout dinners from Chicken Chicken. The memories of this perfect vacation will last a long time!
We had a wonderful time at the Villa, you will need a rental car to get around though. Sapodilla Bay is beautiful and extremely safe for children. The Villa was clean and everything we expected it to be, our family relaxed and enjoyed being close to the beach, with the option of a simming pool so close also was an advantage. The Villa has security from 6pm to 6am which was a nice added bonus as was the wi fi, not that we ever felt we needed the secuirty, it is very safe. The Villa is well appointed and has eveything you will need even if you decide to stay in and cook. The main thing for us was that the beds were all very comfortable, so often this is not the case. It was off the beaten path which was great as my husband got to unwind and relax and enjoy his holiday. The Island is not very big so it was very easy to drive out and about to different restaurants and activities.
What a beautiful spot for a vacation! The villa was even better than the pictures. Decor, amenities and the view (WOW). The villa was very clean and they provided all the kitchen stuff that you could want. One thing that we will do next time is pack a suitcase of food such as stables, cereal, and other things that do not need to be refrigerated. Even if you have to pay for an extra suitcase it would save you money. We rented one side of the villa and it was perfect for our family of 6 and a 14 month old granddaughter. The beach was perfect for Rebekah. It was shallow and no major sloping into deeper water. We felt so comfortable letting her just roam the beach in front of the villa with out holding on to her every minute like when we went over to Grace Bay. They also had some great beach toys and floats. We added to them by leaving a skim board. The sunsets were spectacular every night accept one when the sun went down into clouds. The island is spectacular. We would spend the morning on the beach in front of the villa and then explore other beaches after lunch every day. I would recommend this villa to people who do not have little kids. It is a very quiet beach. We did have a little noise from a villa that was being built next door but it looks like it will be done soon. Dana was terrific in answering all kinds of questions and had suggestions for meals out also. Hopefully we will go back and add boat trips to our adventure to see the rest of the islands. A little hard to do this time with a 14 mo. old. The beaches are just out of this world!!!
Thanks so much for letting us say @ your home. This beach is by far the nicest iv seen wile here. We had tons of fun and I believe we are coming back to Turks and Caicos for Spring Break. I can't wait. I wish we could stay longer. This is by far my favorite place iv ever been!!! Thanks! i had a ton of fun! It was very nice here. I love jet skiing! I love how blue the water is. It's so beautiful! My favorite store of all time is the Potcake Place! Thank you for letting us stay in your house. I loved the house. It was beautiful. I hope to come back and stay in the house again.
We had a Great time at the Beach. Thanks 4 everything!! We had a GREAT time!
We stayed at the Coconut beach villa in December 2011. We have traveled extensively and have stayed at beach front properties several times but nothing compares to Coconut beach villa. It is brand new, with modern, stylish furnishings and a very well equipped kitchen. THE best part about the house is the view you wake up to each morning and the location, just a few feet from the beach. The pool adjacent to the house also has gorgeous views and it thoroughly maintained. The beach is just perfect for little kids, the sand is super soft, the waters so calm that you can let young children play there freely without worry. Even our infant felt comfortable in the protected waters. Dana is the most helpful of homeowners. She went out of the way to make us comfortable. Las Brisas restaurant nearby has fantastic view of the emerald green Chalk Sound, good fresh seafood and a family-friendly atmosphere. Bay Bistro was fantastic for both food and the views. Magnolia Bay had amazing view but the food was just average. Our kids enjoyed the glow worm boat cruise from Sapodilla bay. We stayed on the south side of the villa. Would recommend this side if you had a choice as there are no neighbors to the one side. Bottom line: we highly recommend Coconut Beach villa. We would be thrilled to return.
It was awesome. The pool was great! I hope to come back again. The beach was sweet! It was right in front of the house and beautiful. We found great shells. It was the best family vacation. I absolutely loved the pool. I was in it day and night. Snorkeling was great - all the exotic fish! Recommend swimming by the fence in the water.
Location, location, location! We had one of the merriest Christmases ever thanks to this beautiful villa and the weather and the family we traveled with. To wake up to the gentle sea, to relax during the gorgeous sunsets and then to go out for a gourmet meal was such a special way to spend our family Chrismas 2011! Our hats off to Scott and Dana for building a beautiful villa, nestled in the corner of such a pristine beach! It almost takes your breath away! May those who come for a visit enjoy all the beauty that this lovely place has to offer...and our hope is that we may be blessed to come back someday for a return visit to make some new and everlasting memories! All the best!
We raised the bar another notch for our vacations by staying at this idyllic setting. A gentle breeze stirs as I write this, as I'm overlooking Sapodilla Bay. The sailboats rest comfortably offshore and we rested very comfortably onshore at Coconut Beach Villa. Sharing the house with good friends, we enjoyed our space as they enjoyed theirs. Being here Christmas week was a departure from our traditional holidays - and we are all very happy with the result.
We spent a glorious week @ the villa (rented both sides) during Christmas week. 2 families with 6 children who ranged in age 10-16 and we all had a blast. Coconut Villa was lovely, clean, new and well appointed. Location was perfect - beautiful beach and out of the way from the masses - it really was paradise. Don't bring many clothes, the washer dryer came in very handy! Dana is a perfect hostess and her knowledge of the island was very helpful in terms of restaurants and spots to visit.
What a beautiful place! Thank you for building this villa, an earthly paradise! we enjoyed the gorgeous weather, the nice neighbors, kayaking, snorkeling, playing in the beautiful pool and building castles in the sand. We are so grateful for having found a place like this and hope to return in the future. Now it's again time to head home to upstate New York and 20 degree weather, but with tons of beautiful memories of Coconut Beach Villa at Sapodilla Bay!
We had a fabulous time. Perfect beach for a 14 mo old. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed. Very hard to leave! Especially going back to Colorado and Maine! Great to have the beach toys and floats. Hope someone can use the skim board. Thanks for a great vacation!
Thank you for all your hard work making this beautiful home (villa!) for our families to enjoy! What a paradise! So many things to do, so many interesting people. Keep us posted on your new place in St Croix. We would love to visit!
Never before have we walked onto a rental property and found it was even better in person than it was in its pictures! Coconut Beach Villa has everything going for it: clean, spacious, well-equipped, quiet! Just a very short walk down a private boardwalk to a beach where our 4 grandchildren (all under 8 years old) could play and splash safely. Mornings on the beach, afternoons in the pool, back to the beach for rum drinks and sunsets. We ate most of our meals at the villa, but there are great restaurants for dinners out. And we made use of takeout from Chicken Chicken and bought lobsters and red snapper from the local fisherman. We loved the undersea explorer and SNUBA. And the snorkeling was just lovely! The construction next door was minimally intrusive and almost completed. The one thing we learned for next year when we return is to allow 3 hours rather than 2 when departing from the very crowded, inefficient airport. We can't wait to get back!
Dana made the process fairly painless, and was very responsive to our many questions. Scott and Dana were out of the country during our stay, so Dinesh was their proxy during our stay. She was very friendly and helpful during the few times we called her (we ran out of propane for the grill the first night, and the internet was down the first 4 days we were there). Dinesh was right on top of both issues for us, and pushed lime to get our internet fixed. Everything here was exactly as described, but descriptions really don't do it justice. The cross-breezes were constant, and we didn't even have to turn the a/C on during our stay. The pool was cool and refreshing, and our daughters pretty much stayed in the pool the entire visit (go figure, go to a beach, and they are in the pool). The beach had a few visitors, but nobody stayed long, because there are no public facilities. We did have a single beach party show up on Sunday, but they ended it promptly at 8pm (although they did leave a lot of trash behind). The water was very clear, and varied from ankle high at low tide, to waist high at high tide (from the beach to the kayaks). We snorkeled around quite a bit, but found the best place to see fish was next to the rocks, especially at the point. Among the typical reef fish, we saw 2 puffer fish, quite a few bonefish, and an octopus that was about 8 inches from tip to tip. Although the islands don't have much of a crime rate anyway, we felt even safer with the security service that patrolled the properties from 6pm-6am. I will say this, and it really doesn't have anything to do with the villa...if you are coming from the majority of america, you are in for an unpleasant surprise at the prices of food and items on the island. Plan to bring dry goods from the states in your suitcases, and frozen meats in a rolling cooler. As an example, a small jar of peanut butter that you can get from the grocery here in the states for around 1 USD, costs around 7 USD there. Gas was about 2.50 USD to 3.00 USD higher than the states. Be sure to not waive the collision damage waiver at the rental company if you don't have it included in your travel insurance...because your us insurance does not cover your rentals here.
We loved the setting, the sunset are spectacular and the beach is very private and fits for families with children like ours. The home is brand new , exquisitely fitted and have all possible things one may need. The owners are extremely friendly and helped us with all we asked for. Will surely come back Thanks Dana and Scott!
Our family and friends (10 total) ranging in ages from 9-75 just spent a week at Coconut Beach Villa. It truly is one of a kind; beautiful views, white sand beach that is so calm and perfect for young children, and the villas set up perfectly for privacy in larger groups. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen or grilled right from the deck daily. The evening breezes make for some of the best sleeping ever.
Gorgeous home and beach. Enjoyed everything about our stay and can't wait to return! Sunsets were the most beautiful I've seen and dinner on the patio was most enjoyable.
